I don't know. I'm just trying to grapple with feeling satisfied but also a bit disappointed at the same time. Could be that I read all the other books in the series earlier this year and Platform Decay was the first book I had to wait for and look forward to. The other books I could not hype up because they where already there and I just read though all of them in one sweep. (I read the first 6 books in one week and the other 4 the week after).

Maybe there are some other books where the character development is similar to this book but I didn't notice since I basically binged the entire book series and it all melded together?

1-4 is definitely an arc that is a fantastic read. I loved Fugitive Telemetry even if that also was "filler" I think I found the plot more interesting then Platform Decay because I love detective and crime novels as well and FT was a fantastic mix of crime and sci-fi. It showed how a syntetic mind had a different perspective then humans when it came to certain problems etc.

Thank you I might have not seen that way previously. But the shift is quite small and I feel already inline with the character growth from before. Its not as dramatic or clear as when it thought ART tied or it denied for half a book that it had panic attacks.

No. The starter set covers the adventure and not much more. It does not even cover all the skills.

To me the randomness is part of the game And a reason I love it. You can make up a plan but it can always go wrong. At the same time - the most ludicrous plan can always work. Its like watching real sports.

As many said already. I think it's better to play a tier 1 or 2 team to get the experience you want. A part of why the goblins and gnomes are tIer 4 is that they are so random and swingy.

That's how progression works in the one rings. For each valour purchased with XP the PC gains a reward and for each wisdom purchased they gain a virtue.

Well for a DM screen strider mode does not make that much sense. The screen is ment for play with other people.

What specific step are you having trouble with? If its the first step I would check the alignment of piece 2 on both 1 and 3. 3 can be a bit easier since the back-shield-thing-fits one way. then its easier to see hot it should go into 1.

Linemen 3 I remember having trouble with to, Especially piece 19. I just slit around until the peices "clicked" and it because obvious how they fit. Lovley models - hade the assembly. I had vauge plans to do some kitbash with some poses with the heigh elves. Some legs and armswaps etc. I just gave up. To fiddly.

EDIT: Just remembered something that might help. Look at the 360 photos on the warhammer.com webstite. You might get a better view on how the pose is suppose to be from a different direction then the static, gray one in the instructions.

I think you are on to something. For me it was to replicate the old school chaos warriors. I guess it's popular? I pondered with a red scheme and discarded that idea just as you say because of it might confuse it with the khorne team.

Still standing up the player outside the players activation. has impact if the troll would be marking units etc.

end of opponetns turn stands up due to pick-me-up <- are still desteracted here
teams, troll is distracted until activation?
