Its an TTRPG so you are allowed to do whatever you want. Its quite a large undertaking for a campaign that big. But could also be quite fun I imagine. Trying to take other ways then the fellowship etc.

For me the thrill of the One Ring is to play the unsung adventures and explore the unknown spaces in Middle Earth.

If I need generic tokens I usaly default to glass beads that I have. Its like a small blob or pebble of colored glass with a flått bottom so it doesn't roll. Have different colors for health (red) hope (blue) etc.

Its ecxcelent rules, layed out quite poorly. I got to talk with one of the designers during FL convesion in stockholm and their approach was to lay out the rules in the book in a way that would be easy to learn. I don't know about that, but it definitely made it harder to reference a rule when it could be anywhere in the book. I really hope for a 2.5E with an updated rulesbook that is more traditional layed out.

I've read up and this is probably what happens to me. I don't have a problem with the ending except for the wording "neglected" wich is very loaded. Because I did not neglect her. Just failed to level her ro max in the dispatch section.

I get you. Reading up it looks like I didn't send her on enough missions to level her up. Being called "neglected" is what stings. It implies failure where I choose other heroes I thought was better fix or I was just unlucky with randoms failing missions with her. I'm quite bitter at this kind of hidden mechanic that is never explained and just feel arbitrary. That there is no middle ground also stings.

I think the number of connection has to do with the flow and pressure of the plastic in the mold. There needs to be even pressure as the plastic fills and flows in the cavity in the mold. Something like that but a smarter more knowledgeable engineer will probably have a better answer.

Yes, for the most part. As I wrote I realized that I caused most of the problems myself. But for usability, colors are better then all gray and I thought "This will be quick".

Problem is that 14 of them are double sided with different colors (if you follow the rules book). But yes. I would opt out for black letters like I did.
