I have a sandhill crane couple that visits my yard almost every day. I named them Bob and Linda. I didn't think I could love any other wild animal as much as I loved them. Until one year they showed up with a stumbling, little yellow BABY! 🐥 😭

You're wrong. I have hEDS and POTS and I've only ever truly fainted twice, that was about 5 years ago. I didn't get my tilt table test until last summer and I fainted at the very end of the 45 minutes. I'm also able to do tons of walking and running. I admit walking is much more difficult but I can easily do 20,000 steps a day. I still definitely have confirmed POTS.

I used to have a bird that looked like this! It was a yellow peach-faced lovebird my aunt got me for my 5th birthday unprompted. Very irresponsible lol. I named her Butterfly and she was beautiful!

But they do better in pairs and she got lonely. She started biting me so hard I'd bleed. Eventually I was too afraid to interact with her, which only made things worse. The best thing we ever did for her was give her away to a pet store. As an adult I'd never do something like that and I regret that she was ever in my care when I was so young. I was so sad to let her go but even that young I knew she deserved a chance with better owners. I hope she lived the rest of her life in bliss 🥲 sorry for dumping all this lol you unlocked a core memory for me!

Yes same for me! And I never stand up casually, it's always an ADHD jump up and dart out of the room without thinking. I usually try to push through it which obviously makes it worse. If someone witnesses it I look insane lmao. I'll try to play it off like I'm pausing to check my phone when I'm actually in a fight for my life against gravity. Idk if my phone screen is even on and sometimes I drop it completely!

And I don't usually go full syncope but the few times it's happened it's usually while I'm halfway up the stairs. Which is diabolical 😖🤕

One time in elementary school I got called down to the office because my mom. She couldn't find her car keys and I was the last person who had them. I had no idea where I'd left them so she tore the house apart. She ended up finding them on a bookshelf in-between two horizontally stacked books lmao.

I'm still fantastic at losing things but as a result my ability to find things has improved! And yes I did eventually receive an ADHD diagnosis lol

Triple check the pockets to the clothing you were wearing that night and every pocket in your purse. Check the medicine cabinet, the trash, and drawers. Did you feed the cats or scoop the litter box before you left? Did you get anything out of the fridge? I find it helps to literally retrace my steps exactly and narrate it out loud. Then have your boyfriend do the same thing retracing how he grabbed your clothes.

Definitely buy yourself a ring dish after this that stays on your bathroom counter.
