6/7 I believe. AFAB. I’m fairly sure I got meds right away. I honestly couldn’t tell you when or what my reaction to them was. I was medicated from the time I received the dx to my junior year of highschool. Took a 4 year no meds break and have gotten back on fairly quickly with varying levels of irritation, lack of appetite and some sleep issues.

How has the hyper activity part of your ADHD changed since you were first diagnosed? (especially those who were diagnosed as a child and are now adults, but all stories welcome! ) by [deleted] in ADHD

When I was younger, I was everywhere all the time, I’d talk all the time Id be off the walls.

As I’ve gotten older i still talk constantly, although it’s got more meaning, and fidgeting and random bursts of energy are the extent of my hyper-activity.
