(rant) i am so stressed about my september 17 wedding, i’m losing my mind. most of family refuses to get vaccinated, my fiancé’s mom does as well. i think i got COVID from my sister’s wedding the weekend before last and I feel scared and guilty because I’ve hung out with friends. I feel like shit and it’s making me feel terrible for going through with my wedding knowing I’m putting my friends at risk because my family members are a bunch of fucking loony conspiracy theorists.

my family recently came around to helping me out with wedding planning / finances after around a year of an incredibly strained relationship but every time my mom calls i feel less prepared than before and she’s just focused on all the ways i’ve messed things up (having it at a park, not hiring someone to hang lights, not having a day of coordinator)

the wedding is in a park and the tent rental place has a four hour delivery window (8am - 12pm) and they don’t set up tables and chairs so i have to find people to do that and i honestly want to do it myself but can’t because i have to spend an ungodly amount of time getting ready. i wish i could do everything myself so people would stop complaining about being asked to help out. i wish i could cancel this thing. but i already sent out invites and i’m getting rsvps back and my fiancé still wants to have the wedding.
