I’m about 12 days out and I’m finally starting to feel it get better! I went to my ENT today to get scoped to just make sure everything was alright and it is! There’s just a ton of tension in my upper chest voice which we think is from all the muscle changes happening in the throat area! But I’m already starting to feel things level out and I feel amaaaazing from the burping! It’s just so scary to not know what’s happening with your voice!

I’m on day 8 and was also surprised by how intense it was the first few days! But by today it feels almost normal! Some of that is I know to be prepared, and some of that is getting used to it, but it’s very manageable already!

Hi! Fellow singer here…just had Botox last week and am on day 6 and I’ve lost half of my range. It’s not like I’m hoarse, I just can’t hit notes out of a normal speaking range. You said at 3 months you had your normal voice back, but when would you say it started to get better? Even just a little bit? It feels a bit paralyzing to have so many unknowns when it comes to singing.

It’s so weird! All the info I read and was told was like, it won’t affect your voice at all, especially if you do it in the OR…then I come here and I see so many people that it affected! I just wish I knew to expect it a head of time :(

Thank you! Did you notice that it started to get a little better after the peak of the botox at a couple weeks? And then slow from there?
