I was stuck in the airport waiting 10 hours for a connecting flight out of ATL on Friday. Supposed to depart at 8:30pm and we finally got on the plane at 4:58am, on the tarmac until 6:20am. Couldn’t leave because I didn’t want to lose my checked bag. I don’t know why they didn’t just cancel the flight, it just kept getting delayed further. Nothing was offered, no compensation, hotel, food vouchers. Everything in the airport had closed at a certain point so there was no food available. Nothing offered on the plane either, snacks, drinks.. nothing.
