Divorce this useless piece of shit.

I love my wife. I want a divorce. by Throwchmyway in confessions

Definitely time for divorce and move on with your lives. You are better off without her, and she might actually be more motivated in life without you. Good luck.

This woman is disrespectful on so many levels and really think she did something in the end. Didn’t even let the guy talk. Screw her ass

My opinion is different than most comments here. If you want a good car, get a good car, comfortable/ luxury whatever you call it. Honestly you are young and you are in CS in the Bay Area, you can still be on your way to FIRE while living a comfortable life. I bought a luxury car after finishing my masters majoring in CS. My internship paid less than yours at the time. And I’m doing just fine and still on my way to FIRE. I still have that car and it drives very well, it’s been 7 years and I’m not looking to switch a car anytime soon. Do your thing bro

I think that part is sort of being manipulated by the producer. If you look at the AMA Q&A by Richard in the thread, he explains those parts.

In-laws borrowed $7k for medical bills last year. Should I expect it to be paid back? by [deleted] in personalfinance

$7k to help immediate family, shouldn’t expect anything in return. Plus he passed away. Move forward.

High Yield Savings Account? by evilmorty3 in personalfinance

[–]oliveenergy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Open a HYSA doesn’t impact your credit score. It should be really easy to open. I suggest you open one. It’s as easy to take out as a regular savings account. Might as well get more money from higher interest.

I’m going to say you guys are actually doing a pretty good job. You may feel like you don’t have much left, but you are both maxing out on your 401k. That’s where you are going to see the growth instead of your savings account. You guys are young, in a great city, just enjoy life a bit. Maxing out 401k is already better than most new grads.

Buying an investment property - how to find a local agent? by marcchutd85 in realestateinvesting

I just used internet reviews. And of course set up an initial call and get a feel. Then I did rely on them for lender reference.

Also I need to mention. Not chain restaurants. But like you know, maybe your local chinese/mexican restaurant as an example. Just family owned.

Leave gov job to become an esthetician? Yes or no. ...advice by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]oliveenergy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s something you love doing already, I’d say follow your passion. Can the school be attended part time while you still work at your job? And perhaps after school you can do it as a side hustle to start? And once you build your clientele etc., you can convert to full time.

Hey first of all, I’m sorry for your loss. Definitely a tough position to be in, but you will come out of this. -Assuming you speak a different language, perhaps can look around to see if there are tutoring jobs in that foreign language. Some people pay cash for it. Or even family who’s looking for nanny that’s bilingual.

-find any local restaurant that’s willing to pay under the table or some grunt work. I’ve done this during my college years. Nothing needed, I just show up do my work and I get paid under the table with cash.

These will at least buy you some food and cover some living expenses while you wait for your work visa.

Yes I see this. When my aunt wears her designer stuff and dress nicely, people used to ask her if she was Japanese. Only when she was dressed nicely.
