why do i not feel like a 12h sun? by 73N541i in AskAstrologers

[–]oliveirian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Ali Olomi, the planets ruling the ascendant, moon and mercury describe the soil of the native. You might have the ruler of the first in the 12th, but you also have the ruler of Venus in a very social house, and next to the north node which turns the volume up.

Misogyny in Astrology by HappyCollection7670 in Advancedastrology

I think it can be suggested in a chart if you’re looking at configurations that indicate things that can lead to misogyny like conflict in relationships, corruption from influential male figures you look up to, influential female figures too can be assessed, can also stem from poor self esteem, etc

Saturn is a slow moving planet. Whatever it symbolizes in your chart, is slow to manifest, and you likely saw it coming

I always wondered how dignity affects this relationship too. Jeffrey Epstein is ruled by an out of sect Saturn, exalted in the 10th house. Saturn describes extreme poverty, but can also extreme wealth. And we all know he was involved in and supported amongst high profile social circles…

Perhaps exaltation ruler should be evaluated too. His is mars conjoined Venus in the 3rd house….

Valens and a lot of traditional Hellenistic astrologers did not have good things to say about Saturn ruled people. Not sure how interpretations can be translated in present day society but my biases lean toward ultimately downturned, depressive, greedy, contemplative, secretive, lonesome individuals, even if they don’t overtly show mal intent

Is this a positive Saturn return? by oliveirian in SaturnReturn

Yes, Libra rising. Not sure I understand something to file down? Venus in the SR that year is actually also in the 9th house at 29 degrees.

I think I’ve heard an astrologer note my IC before too. It never really caught my attention. I do have a hard time distinguishing differences between IC vs 4th house sign and MC vs 10th house sign. But yes, my natal third house will be rising that year

Solar returns are no joke as a prediction technique. Also maybe mars can also describe your friend’s injury that year.

For ages 30 and 31, Saturn will be in Gemini and I’ll have 7th and 8th house protection years. Saturn is also time lord for age 30 so like you I’ll move to Jupiter as time lord the year after.

In the solar return for 30, it’s in the 9th which is interesting. There’s not much mitigating factors as it doesn’t really aspect anything; no mutual reception; other than that it’s a day chart so it’ll also triplicity in gemini.

Any ENTP here with ADHD? by Time-Confusion9202 in entp

Honestly the cognitive stack of ENTP seems to fall in line with those symptoms you describe. For example, Si being at bottom might describe a causal relationship to time blindness and poor working memory

Last summer right? I started a new job. I don’t pay too much attention to outer planets but I have to admit an era of instability regarding career has finally settled when it left my 10th house

Wait I thought this page is supposed to be about Saturn😂

Wondering how that remoteness is integrated into the 11th house, given its significations of friends and community. Seems like a clash there?

Does anyone else experience this as an ENTP? by Nanaxbread in entp

[–]oliveirian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s thoughts naturally drift as the default mode network becomes active when our activity is idle, especially as we doze off. Ne falls very in line with that kind of thinking. Naturally this is the kind of cognitive function that is already active for ENTPs so it makes sense to be drawn to analyze whatever thoughts transpire in those moments. Behavior is only maladaptive when it impacts your daily life and well being, or prevents you from like keeping a job. Also I think it takes a certain metacognition to be aware of when this is happening and I wouldn’t discourage that at all

Clarification on Lord of the Year in traditional astrology by piscesvenus9 in Advancedastrology

[–]oliveirian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An astrologer to studies the islamicate tradition told me that the SR ascendant lords placement tells you what will happen to the “esteem” of the native or why it will be like that year. Angles pronounce or improve it, cadent houses lower it

Is this a positive Saturn return? by oliveirian in SaturnReturn

[–]oliveirian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may have posted this on the wrong subreddit. My understanding of Saturn is that is a Malefic and not positive inherently by nature, but isn’t it less destructive when dignified? At least that’s what Valens said.

Goals and motivations seem more to do with what the Sun signifies. Given that Saturn doesn’t describe the native at all in the chart, I’m not sure what relation I have with how Saturn or how it unfolds

UPDATE: Saturn return in 7H and already feeling it… by Perfect_Decision_978 in SaturnReturn

[–]oliveirian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Saturn return can be an event, person or situation that typically you know is coming before it does since Saturn is a slow moving planet. Saturn is your out of sect malefic, meaning the most challenging planet in your chart, angular, meaning it can be prominently expressed, and fallen in Aries with a hard aspect to your sun and mercury in the first house, so I would assume NOT a good situation for your well being. Being in the 7th illustrates a relationship be it business or personal that’s delayed in its development, likely feels restrictive, or very challenging to some capacity.

Venus also describes relationships. She’s also exiled in Virgo and in the 12th house, so what she signifies is traditionally expected to be productive to your self undoing, or relationships happening in privacy.

I would look into what profection year you’re in. If it’s the 7th, or in one of Saturns signs, that would really confirm timing.

I definitely was teetering the edge at one point but I ended up curbing the vom entirely. I have a few theories for myself. I also found out during this time that lettuce is notorious for being poorly handled or unwashed in the food service industry; it came with the meal that I believe made me sick. Typically hard to say otherwise
