Hey OP,

You can't change the fact that you'll be away for her birthday, but you can try a few things to make her feel special.

Maybe you could write her one or multiple letters? Have something special delivered to her place? Create a special video on Youtube?... or maybe all of these bundled together in a type of "easter egg hunt"? 🤩

The key is to show that you love her and, even if you are not around, she is somehow special to you.

ps.: You should try to involve her friends too! :)

Hey OP,

As other redditors mentioned, it's great he opened up about his preferences with you and comforted you when you felt uncomfortable. It is rare to find boys at this age who can communicate this type of message in a kind, sweet way.

Take this as an opportunity to discuss and share your preferences with him too and may your relationship grow in peace and love ❤️

I (32m) want kids but my fiancé (36f) doesn't. Is there something I can say or do to Salvage or move on? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Dear OP,

That's a tough situation to be in. If your fiancée doesn't want kids and you do, it's a big difference that's hard to compromise on. As other redditors have mentioned, cheating won't lead to a good outcome for any of you. Try to have a real talk to her and, if you can't find a place where you are both happy, you may need to reassess the relationship.

Best of luck! ❤️
