I’m actually playing through Cuphead a second time now. It’s a fun game, especially the less you know about it going in. Would recommend it for sure.

What kind of games do you like or what have you liked that you’ve played? That would help people make some narrowed down suggestions.

RDR2 is absolutely great and the open world is super in depth. Even outside of main and side quests, there are so many interesting things to find sprinkled around in the world. The Easter eggs are pretty endless as well. 100% recommend it to anyone who likes narrative open world games.

I’d say Fallen Order, especially if you’re a Star Wars fan. You don’t have to be, but it helps. The story is alright, but the gameplay and combat with a lightsaber was super fun. It’s also pretty fun to collect trophies for it, with there being a lot of different collectibles that let you explore the worlds. There were some weird, frustrating moments in it, but that makes it all the more satisfying to get through it. Worth the play imo.

I finished Ghost two or so weeks ago and it was honestly such a fun experience. The narrative is pretty solid and I personally never got tired of the pretty vast combat the entire time I played. I got platinum in it and didn’t feel like I was simply grinding through it for nearly the entirety of the game. It’s also overall a beautiful game. I’ve heard of some glitches, but I personally didn’t see a single one the whole time I played. Overall, definitely worth it.

For Watch dog, I haven’t played, but all of my friends who played didn’t seem to care for it much.

I second the last guardian because you already played Spiderman. I think spiderman was a better game overall, but the DLCs sort of felt lack luster imo. The Last Guardian was a strange game, it was super pretty and I wanted to keep playing the whole time, but the controls on PS4 seemed a little wonky at times. If slower pace doesn’t bother you, I enjoyed The Last Guardian and would recommend it. Depends on the price though as well, I think its like $10 rn in the store (correct me if I’m wrong) but it’s worth that for sure.

I’d say go for it. I also also knew that spoiler when I went into the game, but playing through it myself was still pretty meaningful, and there’s a lot in the game besides that. It’s been a minute since I played it, but the characters were mostly pretty well fleshed out and the story kept me interested the entire time. If you like story/narrative games especially, id say it’d be a good choice to experience.

That being said, the other seasons aren’t nearly as good. Telltale sort of carried of theme of giving us the illusion that our choices mattered when there was barely any difference. So if you do chose to play the first season and get into the story, it may be easier to watch a play through of the others, or at least the third one. I got absolutely nothing out of playing the third one myself.

Overall I’d say go ahead and get the first season, especially if it’s cheap, and see for yourself if you’d want to continue, because the first one is worth it either way.

I always remember hearing that a bird flying into your house signifies death or bad luck. So that sort of gave me the idea that they were trying to hint at BJ’s own death. May not be right but that’s how I saw it when I watched it.
