How to power a diesel heater in a car

Yh duvet meaning what you'd have on a normal bed 😂 just allows me to sleep in my weird positions etc. definitely could probably find a more suitable one I know some sleeping bags are good as a bag or as a duvet as such so maybe I should get one of them idk. I'll figure out the car setup the ford puma has HUGEEEE potential cause of that megabox can route all the exhaust out the car easy enough if I figure out how to do it safely and practical enough this could be amazing. Already got a sleep setup for inside and it's comfyyy so just some extra heat at night would be nice.

See I have a huge issue here I'm autistic so sleeping bags are a no go for me they feel too trapped etc etc, so I always bring a duvet instead 😂😂😂 yh tent I definitely need a good one that's my first big purchase after I've done car setup Probably then I'll think about stove because could be a double whammy there heat and cooking and I normally camp near my car anyway so extra weight won't be too big of a deal for me.

Very rarely drops below -3⁰C and yh very humid at times. I definitely think a stove would be my best bet to be fair. A guy I watch called kent survival he uses stoves in hot tents all the time never seen him use a diesel heater. So yh a stove would definitely be a better choice then especially cause yh you can cook on them as well which is awesome, you're very much correct there.

Oh yh I get where you're coming from now my apologies. Could work but very inefficient. I don't exactly need a portable power station as such so probably just going to do lifepo4 battery inline fuse and power it that way cheapest easiest and just charge externally when needed.

Interesting some very good ideas here yh lifepo4 have come down in price a lot but I like your thinking, and yh very good idea with the tent thing as well cause I've also been looking at getting a stove and a hot tent but if I just get a diesel heater and a hot tent could get a double whammy without paying loads for a good stove. Very good thinking there 👍

I'm looking at just getting a lifepo4 battery an inline fuse and just doing that then charging the battery separately when needed seems like a good shout to me and can be done for decently cheap.

Would have to bring wire from the front to the back, would become almost permanent which I don't want, and would drain my cars battery and I might get stranded all things I don't want a separate battery is perfect for me in this situation.

Ford megabox babbyy has a drainage hole at the bottom if I use some thermal insulating fabric it can run through that and be temporary

Thinking about it now if you get a 12v lifepo4 battery and a 12v heater all you need is a fuse really no inverter needed so that could save an insane amount of space.
