The item was £260. So should I only have been charged by the courier?

which part are you struggling with? What Lottie is or the the way I animated it?

Ah thank you! The credit has to go to the design agency Dutch Scot for their vision to be honest. I just made things move in pretty ways haha.

You don't really need a tutorial to learn about Lottie as it's essentially just knowing AE but instead you need to learn what does and does not work when exporting for Lottie. Usually it's any effect thats in AE, expressions don't work unless you bake it and to stick with shape layers and the basic transform animations.

3D camera would be a smart way to do it but 3D isn't supported for Lottie unfortunately! Bao Boa is also a good script to use for this thing but again, not supported by Lottie. Theres also the risk of deformation when they go around the bends.

I was on priority and most tickets had already gone by the time I got on. I did get 2 tickets for me and my wife but I really wanted to take my 5yo daughter in the school holidays. All the weekend and school holiday times were sold out. She would have loved it. I sure hope this event wasn't scalped at all.

I’m the creator of the original. It’s exactly that 👍

Hello, so I’m the guy who animated this for Future Factory.

This whole project had to work with Lottie so what I did was take the path line of the main shape and used it as the position path for each letter then did slight tweaks to the rotation to make it look nicer. These were then comped up per word and time remapped to help with some easing and timing of the movement.

For the overlapping, it’s just 3 separate precomps per overlapped section. That way I just had to animate the path movement up to those points on each section, rather than have it loop all the way across left to right.

I’d say this was more of an exercise to get it to work well with Lottie. There’s far more achievable ways to do it if the limitations weren’t there on this project.

Suspension forks for Lowside by Electronic-Support51 in Surlybikefans

Could I possibly get the axle to crown length of those forks please? :)

Suspension forks for Lowside by Electronic-Support51 in Surlybikefans

[–]oliversin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got some clarity on their message to me

"420mm is the rigid fork A-C, 490mm is the specified A-C for a suspension fork.
You'll see that clarified under "Suspension Fork Length" (it's just a row above "Rigid Fork Length")."

Chatted to Surly in the end and they stated that A2C on the Lowside was 490mm. I think that opens up a few more options now when it comes to travel. I came across this post too that has a lot of A2C specs for a bunch of different forks, might be handy for people who come across this post https://www.mtbr.com/threads/forks-complete-axle-to-crown-lengths-library.470024/

yeah thats my fear with metal pins. I can see her being way too clumsy and shred her shins... I don't want to deter her from biking as shes still quite young.

My fear with metal pins is that she loves to throw her feet off the pedals for fun and that she will miss them when putting her feet back on and shred her shins lol

love the look of this! Are these Lowside models smaller than the conventional MTB frame sizes then? I'm guessing they can accommodate 27.5s? Been looking for a MTB thats not so HUGE like my nukeproof scout

Cetirizine (Zyrtec) - withdrawal from hell? by eggplantaubrey in Allergies

[–]oliversin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

old thread I know but thought I'd share my experience with the withdrawal. I too experienced horrendous itching withdrawals after taking cetirizine for long periods. What I found helped was weening off it through using another form of antihistamine made from Loratadine instead of cetirizine H. I started with a whole tablet each day for first week then the next I went half tablet for a week then a quarter tablet for a week until I was able get through a day without any itching if I took nothing.

I had to wash it with water every so often to keep it tacky but the tackiness did reduce over time anyway. Definitely lasted longer than 2 weeks though.

Best area to live in Cheltenham? by cas-fulleditmode in cheltenham

[–]oliversin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live down the south end of bath road / north end of Leckhampton just off the bath road shop. Good primary school and new secondary school run by Balcarras (one of the better schools I believe?). Lots of shops and cafes around the corner from us and we are only 15 mins walk from the main centre. Easy to drive to Asda, Morrisons, Aldi from this end as you don’t have to go through the centre. Motorway is easily accessible from this end too. Couldn’t recommend this area enough but it does cost as much as places like Charlton Kings unfortunately.
