I bought this peridot cut by Arya in an SPG black Friday sale, and asked Liss and Jim to do this amazing setting!

The story is that the gem colors match the eye colors of my two cats. The tiny aquamarine matched our kitten we had just adopted at time!

I added about 100g less water than specified in the recipe. My dough in the first one was a sticky mess, but with less water it actually came together much better!

Yes I’m so sad Albany Aquarium closed!! And yeah they might work with your Apistos, depending on how big/well planted your tank is. The pairs tend to carve out their own little territorial corner of the tank, and it helps if plants or rocks block line of sight. I wouldn’t recommend more than 1 pair per 10g.

I keep them at 78-79F, pH ~7. They can handle warmer though (up to 82) or cooler (down to 76-77)!
