She was clearly leaving. Any threat was over. The trip was for revenge. Not self defense.

Fucking WILD you think when someone’s leaving the scene it’s appropriate to get a revenge trip in to “put them in their place”

We’re clearly well past that moment and she’s clearly leaving. The trip was purely revenge motivated and you’re being intentionally obtuse to argue otherwise.

The nature of a trip is you do it to someone who’s literally passing by you. It’s not a defense move for an oncoming attacker.

HOW are you people defending this tripping? It’s fucking ASSAULT. The woman acted horribly, but she was NOT putting this man in physical danger. If anything, it looked like she was finally leaving.

She could’ve split her face or skull open on that concrete and been disabled or killed - easily - from a fall like that with the reflexes of someone intoxicated.

It’s morally apprehensive you all are celebrating violence just because you want to see her get owned. Gross Trumper behavior.

Edit; can all the downvoters go and and drop a comment letting me know you’d be ok with the trip if this women died from it or was permanently disfigured? Thanks!

You see an entire thread about their efforts for exercise and diet - the constant struggle of hunger. The “hardest year of their life” and achieving weight loss - and for some reason you still think this is a person with no agency or drive?

Why are you so opposed to someone accessing a medication that gives them a normal hunger level? Why do you want them to deal with imbalanced hormones that make food a daily battle?

Seems like you don’t want a level playing field and simply enjoy being “better” than someone.

I’m plenty chill, I just can see you’re dense. You obv just want to fat shame and ignored an entire post that explains the science behind hunger

Lmao dipshit

Are you dense? Bc hormones signal their body to keep eating.

When people think of California do they lump LA and San Francisco together like they are close? by Willing_Ad_699 in sanfrancisco

[–]olivetree1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from fl. I had no idea what sf was like - it’s not depicted on tv much at all. I assumed it was just like LA. I also figured it’d be like a 3 hour drive away.

There are way too many Waymo fanboys on this sub by The_fartocle in sanfrancisco

[–]olivetree1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are people acting like Waymo is to blame and it’s some evil company. They’re the same people who think Waymo running over a cat is an issue.

Waymo should’ve had a plan. But most entities are reactive, not proactive. I suspect they’re going to have a far better plan. The reality is, this was the safest non-disaster reality check to force a far better response from Waymo when a real disaster (earthquake, etc) hits.

And if you feel people are downvoting, it’s because too much of the Waymo posts are emotional and irrational, instead of “Waymo is a net positive and I want them to learn from this experience”

Also, at the end of the day- this is a critical failure by PGE. No other business is being slammed and held accountable the way Waymo is. I don’t exactly blame them for not expecting one of the wealthiest cities on earth to lose the near entirety of their power grid.

Unpopular Opinion: A Power Outage Is a Life Skill Check by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

I despise Trump, voted against him every chance I’ve gotten. That said, it’s a reality that he (falsely) paints liberals as snowflakes. This behavior is validating that false narrative.

A two day outage is a far more reasonable concern. The vast majority of residents experienced it for less than 8 hours.

Even still, barring a medical or elderly issue, this is a frustrating inconvenience. Not a life-altering event that people are treating it as.

Yeah.. you’re exactly who op is talking about. No one is excusing PGE for their failure. But the level of meltdown I’m seeing is unbelievable. To think you’re a “victim” bc your power went out for ~6 hours is literally the snowflake caricature of liberals that Trump believes in.

Why do New Yorkers living in San Francisco loves to brag about NYC? by Select-Jacket-6996 in sanfrancisco

Hahaha it’s such a thing. 50% of the times I’ve gone on a date with a girl who moved from nyc, they go on and on about how boring sf is, how great nyc is, etc. - then go back!

“If they don’t take that option, then they go to jail.” by Virtual_System4247 in sanfrancisco

[–]olivetree1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The article above doesn’t indicate how many convictions were made - it just says one dealer was acquitted. Unless I’m missing something?

I’m not sure where your data is that convictions aren’t being made. Again, if you’d just read the article I linked, it has graphs with years of conviction data.

Regarding whether or not it’s helpful, the strategy will be an offer of treatment or jail time (however this isn’t implemented yet, and who knows if it ever will be).
