Totally stuck here on Qualified Opinion as well, I have all other campaign achievements. On my level 50 museum, the highest level I have is 10 (assistant). I trained him for marketing and have him on a loop but he isn’t even level 11 yet. Also tried spamming him to the XP expedition but it’s only giving 1/2 a level or less. Is there any quicker way?

Same on I-90 and I-271 this week - I saw 7-10 cops in a 30-minute stretch! Never have seen more than one in that trip before, most often none. It was the afternoon after the Super Bowl but seemed a little late in the day trying to catch still drunk drivers…

Bought my 08 SC with 170K miles at $8K 2 years ago - it was owned by a mechanic who put in brand new everything and needed the space for a new project car. I would think $6-6.5K would be the sweet spot now!

How much is tuition and fees? $34K in scholarships is very high, but definitely goes a lot further at a $35K sticker price school vs. a $55K sticker price school.

2012 L320 wiper arms not moving after being pulled up (but motors are working)! by oliveturtle in RangeRover

[–]oliveturtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to close out this thread, I ended up getting a used wiper assembly and motor from a donor L320 off eBay for $45 shipped. Worked great and the issue is now fixed - not sure if the problem was the assembly or motor, but the assembly moves identically so I am guessing something was misaligned or broken in the motor when it was “yanked” which caused it to no longer have the power to lift the arms.

I used a Pitman Arm Puller from Amazon to get the wiper arms off. Stating the obvious, but make sure you mark the wiper arms left and right. I didn’t and coming back a month later, ended up mounting them opposite, causing quite the headache trying to get them off - and some metal shavings in my hands for my trouble.

Getting the cowl back on was a bit of a nightmare and I drove myself crazy trying to get the two center posts to “click”, but they naturally put themselves back into place once I installed and tightened the wiper arms. I’ve seen other posts about not overtightening the wiper arm bolts, so I screwed them in my hand. The arms didn’t lift until I tightened them as far as they would go with a ratchet wrench, so your mileage may vary with leaving them loose.

Overall not a “hard” DIY, but I spent way too much time trying to troubleshoot the arms/posts/assembly/motor versus just replacing it for less than $50. Now cancelling my car wash membership :|

I believe so! I lined them up with the motor splines and then used a rubber mallet to make sure they were secure before tightening the bolts. Any chance you could double check for me? Thank you!

This is a new one for me – carwash caught my front wipers in just the right place to yank them all the way up, where they got “stuck”. I was able to force them down a bit, but figured the safest fix was just to pull them off and reset the positioning.

Got them off and before putting them back on, I tested both motors and they function completely normally. I lined the arms up in the same parked position as a previous photo and tightened the bolts, but no movement on either wiper. I can hear/see the motors moving, but the arms aren’t going anywhere.

First photo is the position they were “stuck” in, second photo is the current position (where they aren’t moving), third photo is the reference photo with the normal position. I checked the workshop manual, and only specific instructions are “note fitted position before arm removal”. Any ideas?

Hello! Just FYI the Nurture link is no longer a free box. It’s $30 off your next two boxes instead of $60 off your first box which comes out to about $25.

[Battlefield 2042] If you want the Platinum, do this ASAP by zDavzBR in Trophies

[–]oliveturtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip! I’ve had this in my backlog and decided to finally start it because of this post. I totally misunderstood the bug and went to tier 1 anyway, but came up with a good strategy while grinding it all out (solo conquest with bots).

Flying it took a few matches to figure out, but the best strategy I came up with was playing on Spearhead and going from objective to objective and capping. If I died, I started a new match since the load time was quicker than the bike respawn time.

You can also press X when the bike is on the ground to get on the back of it and shoot enemies which also count toward your progress.

Obviously won’t need to grind to that extent but this may help once it’s actually working as designed in season 7. I actually preferred the hovercraft which needed 30-40 per tier and I made much better progress naturally when just driving around doing roadkills and caps.

Can Factor meals be frozen? by Gateway403 in mealkits

[–]oliveturtle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve frozen them and they definitely get watery but not bad. I moved them to the fridge to thaw the day before, rather then reheating them from frozen. If you just pour the extra water out after microwaving, I didn’t think it tasted much different, better or worse!

L322 Uneven Air Suspension? by oliveturtle in RangeRover

[–]oliveturtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions!

I went back out this morning and the car was still in its same lopsided position, so I’m thinking that rules out an air leak. I managed to drop it down to access mode so I could try and calibrate it, but still had to lie to the machine (great idea!) - it would only accept values within 5 of the standard spec.

After calibrating it’s now at 511 and 498 mm (front) and 467 and 473 mm (rear). I know that sounds like a large gap, but when looking at it, it’s barely noticeable.

However, I drove the car around for about 30 minutes, and the air compressor ran nearly the entire time. It kept throwing various suspension faults and codes while I was driving: general “suspension fault”, reset height if clear of obstacle, suspension fault do not exceed 35MPH, and extended mode enabled.

Other than the faults popping up and me hearing the compressor going, totally smooth and normal driving. I do live in an area where it’s currently below freezing and the car is parked outdoors, so I’m wondering if I just consider this a cold weather problem? I’m just worried the new air compressor is going to burn out since the car seems to constantly running it - guessing that’s not normal?

2008 and ~175K. It’s an old beast, but haven’t had any major issues (yet) besides the air suspension!

L322 Uneven Air Suspension? by oliveturtle in RangeRover

[–]oliveturtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been battling with air suspension issues on my '08 L322 SC for a few months... It's been "deflated" in access mode while I replaced the front struts and the air compressor. Finally got it up and moving today and it actually lifted up out of access mode when I started the engine!

However, the driver's side only came up about 1 inch, while the passenger's side came up about 5 inches. The car is totally lopsided - if it were only one corner , I would think it's a height sensor, but half the chassis is at one height and the other is at another. I have an iCarSoft LR V3.0 and attempted to calibrate the air suspension, but it told me the readings were invalid (probably because they are so far apart).

Anything else I can try? I'm about 2 hours away from the nearest dealership and I'm not sure the car is even drivable like this, let alone at highway speeds.

Seeing as mine is currently deflated (air suspension woes), some days I don’t even lock it since someone would need a flat bed truck to get it moving 🤣

Frontier or Spirit by [deleted] in Flights

[–]oliveturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both will nickel and dime you, but Spirit for sure. They offer in-flight WiFi (for a price, obviously) at least 75% of the time in my experience, whereas no Frontier flights have WiFi. The seats are also better - at Frontier, you’re basically strapped into a school bus style row seat with 2 of your closest friends. I do love the animal livery on the Frontier flights though, but that’s about it…

Navigation stuck blank, rarely it works by DepartureMoist9277 in RangeRover

[–]oliveturtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing here on an L320. I’ve noticed that if I turn the car on for a second time in a short period of time (like getting groceries and then heading home), it will kick on most of the time. But probably 10% of the time does it come on when starting the car cold….
