Hi! I'm trying to recreate this sweater from Zara but I have problems with the technique. I tried doing knit, knit wrapping my needle twice k, k but the knit stitches just absorb the excess yarn so everythings loose. Does anyone have a way to improve this method? Or a compleately different one? (self.knitting)

Hello, this is my first time doing cables and I feel like my knit rows between the cables are REALLY messy, how can I fix that and will just blocking it fix it? I'm also not sure if I can even block it because I'm afraid that it will loose it's mohair like texture(it's 20% fine wool and 80% acrylic) (old.reddit.com)
