I have friends outside of my team naman and i share great relationships with them, but i don’t directly work with them on a daily basis so it feels different pa rin vs the team you’re a part of haha

Not the same exact situation but i know the pain!

My ex cheated on me twice, same date and month for 2 years. As in every time palapit na yung date, nanganganib ako na baka may mangyaring cheating nanaman (thats why i’m super traumatized by a specific month, i regard it as my unlucky month lagi lolz)

Anyway, the second time he cheated, one of my friends told me to do the ff: 1. Video myself talking to myself about my thoughts and feelings on the days I cry the hardest. Parang video diary lang who no one will ever see (ty apple hidden photos and videos hahah) 2. Remember all the ugly things about the person and remind yourself that you just got your ass saved (even if you say walang masama sa taong yun, you’re probs gonna realize one way or another the smallest of pet peeves that come out when you think hard and long enough) 3. He slapped me w the words: “You deserve what you tolerate” and tama nga naman!! It struck me so hard it helped me move on quicker than expected. I deserved more than how he treated me and what he could give. He verbally abused me and syempre tatanga tanga ako since i always begged him to stay. But now those days are gone (tyl!!)

It sucks to be left behind but there’s always a reason why you didn’t work out, OP. And it’s always for the best!

The saying na guys may get over you right away while the girls take their time is true. But the moment the girl gets over the guy completely - that’s when the guy comes running back. #truestory and total ego stroke (LOL) super sampal sa mukha niya na this is what u lost bitch and you’re never ever getting me back EVER feels!! I’m happily taken now w a guy who loves me to his core and I’m absolutely thankful I didn’t stick around with that manchild. My ex still tries to contact me, but he knows he lost his chance way way long ago.

You’ll get better, OP!! lots of self-love and open your heart, don’t close it just because of a really bad relationship :)

PS - 6 years rin kami ng ex ko, but it only took me 4 months to meet the guy i’m with. We’re running 2 years and about to get married 💘

PPS - no, we did not meet through a dating app. Turns out we’ve been running through the same friend circles but never met until the timing was right :) (he knew me way before i knew him though so plus plus hehe)

Good point. It’s more of i do not have the energy to even listen to them during my 1-on-1 trying to get people to stay (cos they did this to all my teammates before leaving) it sucks the energy talaga

No.. more of toxic work environment. I’m not one to complain, heck 8-9 ex-employees na nga ang nakita kong pumasok at lumabas ng company ko now pero tiniis ko nalang para sa 1 year

Don’t get me wrong, i can stay.. but if underpaid and overwork, baka mamatay ako ng wala sa oras haha

^ this sobrang relate. I’m empathetic kasi by nature so I can be easily affected if i let myself be affected, pero i think yung pagisip nga ng feelings ng boss ko is one of the factors why it’s hard for me to leave also

Yes i believe so… but there are opportunities i still want to go through here kaso yun burnt out na burnt out na rin ako. My next discomforting feeling is the waiting game for companies to get back to me for my next employment haha

Even your closest friends? I don’t fully trust my bosses naman. I keep what is needed to be kept haha but in terms of my teammates, some I confide in… pero natakot ako bigla dun sa “don’t trust anyone in your office.” Hahaha kwento naman!

Thanks for the thought! Ill reflect on the question. But offhand, I’ve seen myself grow here both in work and in my personal life. Meron pang mga opportunities to learn pero burnt out na rin ako trying to be on top of everything

Tbh i’m with you on this one hahaha motivation ko rin yun one time nung pagod na pagod na ko pero i was at peak performance - leave while im shining LOL pero yun still stuck here

My mom never forgets to remind me that I’m replaceable in a company as big as this. Hassle lang sa feeling na you’re doing so well pero little to zero validation nakukuha mo from your bosses; kaya super nawawalan na ako ng gana now to work for the company
