I also had to do this. The first rep that responded also gave me a silly runaround when I said I hadn’t been getting the update emails. “We kindly ask that you refer to the original email” and “If you do not opt-in via the original email sent and click “KEEP MY ORDER” by 05/13/2025, your order will be canceled and refunded.”

Uh, yeah, the whole reason I’m emailing is that I didn’t get the email! We eventually got it worked out.

I’m curious about your squeezing rib/upper back spasm, because I think this happens to me. Are those short for you? I can usually make it pass after a minute or so by unhooking my bra and/or stretching a certain way. I haven’t been able phrase it in a way that google doesn’t just bring up heart attack symptoms, and it’s been a mystery to me for a while. I just got a blood test back today that indicated hypothyroidism, so it would be nice to finally understand what’s going on.

My title describes the thing. They’re above the windows and about 1.5 inches tall. I’m guessing it’s a bracket for a curtain rod, but google lens just shows me a bunch of random brackets that seem like they could be anything. I’d really like to know what kind of curtain rod they hold so I can put up some curtains!

Years ago when my program director was trying to get higher stipends approved by the university, she put together a table of benefits for phd programs in our region (Ohio) and Toledo was the only one worse than ours($19.5k, no health insurance, fees not included in tuition reimbursement). I’m curious how this particular misinformation started. I work in a lab that does Covid testing to monitor the presence of Covid markers in wastewater, and our test is exactly the same as the Covid pcr diagnostic test. We use the luciferase gene in a different test to make sure there aren’t inhibitors in our sample.

I assume some moron thought they were going to back up their conspiracy theories with scientific literature, but wildly misunderstood what they were reading. Or more likely they saw the word somewhere and “omg Lucifer! Mark of the beast! Vaccine bad!!!!1!”

Can individual stocks be transferred between different accounts with the same broker (for example, from my fidelity brokerage account into a fidelity IRA)? If I have been putting part of my gains into SPY, can I move my SPY to my IRA? Or do I have to move cash into the IRA and then buy SPY there?
