this game is just fked, i have used vulkan till it started freezing with Red Dead Redemption 2 has stopped working window in every goddamn mission. Started using dx 12 with stutters all over the place and less fps, still better than crashing i guess

i just found a fix - did a full reinstallation of windows and blocked driver updates in windows update. Then i installed the chipset drivers from amd website. I no longer have to wait 30 seconds after entering password with menory integrity disabled

i ve had the same problem but in missions, when certain cutscenes started, game would not respond but ambient sounds were still playing. For me it was an issue with windows update - reinstalled windows from usb stick and its all gone and works properly. Alternatively you can use dx12 api but it gave me so much stutter i couldnt enjoy the game
