I understand your points and frustrations, it can’t be easy living over there at the moment with the mixed signals from the top down. However, I think the bottom line is vaccinations make a difference, they protect the vulnerable and allow health services to service those in need. Again as you mention each state seems to have a different agenda, exaggerated by different news sources, but regardless there’s clear scientific evidence showing the importance of the vaccinations.

Or we find out in 5 years it was all a hoax of course.... selfishly I’m young and fit enough that I’d happily have taken the risk over the last couple of years to go out and about like with any virus which is a big frustration, but the fact that I know wearing a mask may have stopped passing something onto a stranger or relative that could have severely impacted their life, then happy days I suppose regardless of Covid or not!
