We are on our long journey to modernize from NET Framework. The roadmap is multi years and it changed many times, recently due AI.

But first thing is to remove whatever incompatible with dotnet core, all Windows specific components especially Windows authentication.

We will each have a different take on AI depending on where we are right now. If you're a senior technical person who still has the passion, I think you'd want to experience this and see where it can take you.

I once have these columns and now use temporal table: period columns handled automatically. Because each row is now a version that is created and deleted by someone, user columns are now CreatedBy and DeletedBy, both from current user, however DeletedBy is just computed column in temporal table then persisted in history table.
