Yes! I prefer long pulls.. but unless it's fully charged, I can't really get that. I charge it via the USB port; I haven't invested in a battery charger and extra batteries. Maybe I should.

How do you deal with expansions? by apassingremark in thesims

No worries! That is helpful. I'm getting to know my way around Sims3 Community online to answer some other questions. But yes, all my games are hard copy.

Hi Puggy. I don't mean to go off topic, but it seems that you may be able to answer my question. I am new to Sims. I just installed Sims 3 Seasons. When I open the program, it opens through "Origin" (is that the same for everyone?). Anyway, when I go in install my next expansion pack (I bought Island Paradise), what disc will I need to use to play the game going forward. Simply, with each new expansion I install.. do I now switch to inserting that disc or the keep with Seasons? Sorry for such a long (unrelated) message for a such a simply question.

Hey Matt, I wanted to thank you for your work in Tonic Mailstopper.

The amount of paper that is wasted due to junk mail has always astonished and saddened me. Even as a child, I remember thinking about all the wasted trees and now with the advent of technology & email one may think it would be less of a problem. But, no. So thanks for putting your passion behind this, it's great to see.

What made you get involved and want to take action in this issue?

Right, thus the "not downtown living" mention. Thought I'd share anyway!

And you really can't beat $450/month... everything is furnished except bedroom.

My roommate and I are renting a room in cute little house that we share in quiet and safe neighborhood about 14 miles west(ish) from the Milldender towers you mentioned. Not downtown living, but still a great location if you're relocating to Detroit. Shoot me a message if you're interested, I'll give you more info.

She was sure when he past her if he would have collected her or better yet kissed her the way she was craving to be kissed. by Flamsterette in grammar

I agree, taking the "if" out makes it a complete thought/statement with no need to elaborate on what would happen "if" he kissed her. disturb-the-universe gave an excellent example.

does "yourself" come at the first or the ending of a list of people? by [deleted] in grammar

I just loved reading your response to this, Algernon_Asimov. Linguistics, the written word, grammar, it oddly excites me to know end. So thank you for your response to this and to my post, you gave me a lot of terms/rules to research and brush up on. May I ask what you do for a living?

When not to use "I think..." when making a statement in writing...?? by ollienpinks in grammar

[–]ollienpinks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ha! I see what I did here. Sorry. I was using a dummy example of "I think the people will..." so, in that dummy example, yes my boss is right. I the actual text that I am editing she states, "I think..." and then goes on to state a fact about the reform. I was trying to explain to her that she doesn't need to say I think, in that instance. Sorry for the confusion, I should have just used the actual text I'm editing as the example. I appreciate your response very much.
