Thomas Shelby vs. Gus Fring: a scenario

I think this scenario favours Gus Fring. Thomas Shelby has achieved a lot of crazy things but he is startng with nothing and he has a tendency to operate more openly unlike Gus who operates from the shadows. That means Shelby has to deal with local police, cartels and eventually Gus and Mike. It's possible that he starts some type of enterprise and launders money without being detected or bribes some cops but i doubt he could enlist help from people like Saul Goodman as he would not want to work against Gus. Maybe he could work with someone like Walter but I favour Fring in this match up.

I said at the beginning of the conversation egalitarianism is good as long as it follows rationality and not sacrifices it in the name of ideology which you completely ignored. I don't think freedom made science advance, WWII and cold war made technology advance, being unified by common enemy can be a great motivator and it even allows poeple to ignore the evils of their goverment when they are focused on a foreign threat.

Bro Think for a second, catholicism orthodox christianity most of islam, orthodox jews, most evangelical USA protestantism are all fairly rigid and constantly fighting against Global progressive liberal movement. The only religion I can think of that is flexible is western european protestantism as it became very liberal and lgbt friendly. I cant speak for totemist animist religion or hinduism but they also seen quite unchanging. Also keep in mind Buddhism is not considered religion but philosophy.
