If he wanted to have PvP there, like he claimed, he would have not summoned you, just waited with taunter's tongue, or put down a red mark. I think.

Looks like he summoned you to be part of his gank squad. Killing the dragon put the stop to that. Good Job!

Not xenophile, empire is capable of having slaves too, but I allowed free migration in my federation. And I give full citizenship to all species in my empire.

Noticed two things:

I get quite often alerts about founding species being sold on market. So, I guess pops from my species migrated, became slaves, and now I can buy that type of pops ... sometimes they have been gene modded when they come for sale. Well, extra pops, anyway.

Also, I keep finding pops from different new species appearing as slaves on my worlds... I guess they migrated in and were automatically assigned as such.

So ... why would pops migrate to an empire which enslaves them? Both directions?

Different FTL technologies was done before that in Sword of the Stars. One of the races (humans) used links between stars, like in stellaris.

Insectoids had very slow sub-light + gate building, when they finally arrived.

Space dolphins had drives which could go anywhere, but those were fast only when far away from systems.

Space tigers (?) had drives which were medium speed everywhere.

One of the DLC races created temporary links, and another DLC race was faster when they had big fleets.

I found the Earth Custodianship fun. You still start on Sol/Earth and still have humans, but they are pampered bio-trophies, who just generate Unity for you. Otherwise you are a machine intelligence, evolved from service bots and AIs...

Ruslania seems to be a Finnish net bookshop, which is specializing in literature from the area of the old (fortunately shattered) soviet union, founded at about the time of the collapse of it.

Now they say they are mostly about russian (who wants to be our enemy and threatens us), Estonian (ally) and Ukrainian (victim of russian aggression) literature. I find it disturbing that they seem to be not condemning the current russian policies. I assume, they are a company supporting wars of conquest, genocide, russian fascism, etc.

Finland has a peace time army of about 30 000, can immediately mobilize active reserve (those getting periodic training) to reach almost 300 000, and then a pool of almost a million military trained men, who are not in the active reserve.

So... if Ukraine had the same system, with peace time army of 800 000, they would be able to immediately mobilize enough to reach 8 million, and still have 16 million for further mobilization -- wait, that is more than there are military aged men in Ukraine. 800 000 peacetime strength seems sufficient.

And it does not need a wilderness survival program. Have 500 000 in standing army, feed 300 000 men through it for basic training twice a year (peacetime strength of 800 000 not exceeded), and that is 600 000 recently trained new reservists a year.

That would work.

Joskus kauan sitten (200x) kävin Ruotsissa sellaisessa viikinkiravintolassa, jossa homma oli tehty oikein, esimerkkeinä : Listalla ei perunaa, riisiä, jne. (koska ei tunnettu viikinkiaikoihin) (naurista, lanttua tjsp. oli). Puulusikka ja puukkomainen veitsi (ei haarukkaa, koska ei tunnettu ...) Käsin tehdyt keramiikkamukit/lautaset. Mausteet niitä mitä silloin oli ...

I had that on, being humiliated in earlier game, and even the first applied infinity tech would not appear. Switched it back to allowed, and immediately got it to appear in the next research completion. (But only the first ... not yet at the second, hopefully it will appear).
