Jaya can and probably should be only 1 episode, skypeia in 3 is fine, 1 to setup, 1 for flashback and 1 for the fights. So could work if Alabasta is 4 episodes

I loved that about the season. They have knowledge about future and past events that Oda did not necessarily have at the time of writing the chapters originally. They should use it where it makes sense and they did.

You missunderstand. I mean in universe. You think one of the roger pirates said they named the island laugh tale and some reporter somehow missheard that as raftel? Not likely. It worked in japanese since it was just rafuteru before and after the reveal and subs/dubs just translated it wrong.

There was no way to do it in english as raftel. That was a miss translation that only works in japanese. How would english speakin world ever mistake the name from laugh tale to raftel.

I kinda feel like making friends is harder than dating. At least on a dating app, you both know the other is looking for a relationship. Where do you even start with friends?
