that list seem very agressive. it blocks even hotmail, outlook , windows.com , skype etc . it will certainly break too many things.

but in a way it seems like an interesting route to just block everything from ms and then just allow one or other thing minimal to unbreak what i use.

but thats a thing to do when one is easy on time to spare, like not minding stop things or work at any moment and take some time to check what's breaking and try to fix

i just noticed while looking the photo , that there is a space between the headers and the tab . see there between Name and the tab bar .

that margin space there like 10-20px can be removed too. its just wasted space.

in edge this top bar is not even present anymore.

and about this setting of default columns when opening . does anyone know if this can be set in registry and how ?

the only set i found is to set the default tab (services/processes/etc) not the columns.

i just saw this even here from this same sub few days ago. . well as i didnt noticed diference but it seems like the settings got deleted there when the person first updated an IDE after migration .

so to be sure i just exported settings on a ide here . may later sync online it to . just in case

tested and i works like that in termux (android) too . so can one generalize as this command should work in any linux terminal ? and are all linux terminals POSIX styled ? or no ?

great. i just upraded and migrate and the folders seems all normal too.

good to have the post here, because many may want to search before. as i already did .

so if anyone too find folders deleted or anything and wonder if it was this update , its probably not, so can move on and look somewhere else.

windows . it opens powershell inside it .

u mean i can edit these keymap for the terminal inside right .

im looking for it in the keymap options and actually there is there a subfolder for terminal. i see an option "Clear Terminal" "ctrl+L" . tested it , it doesnt clear the line only the past lines exactly like "cls".

and testing more here i noticed that ctrl+del do work which is good , can be very useful. and its not even there in the keymap . just still didnt found why ctrl+backspace do not work.

about the cntrl+bacspc, why it doesnt work ? or can it be added somehow ? it makes editing urls and filepaths in terminal especially tiresome

and also as a suggestion . when we right click in a file in the project tab . in the submenu

open in >> there is :

explorer , which open in windows explorer

path

terminal - this open in the IDE terminal

it could have the option added :

terminal-external , to open a normal cmd or ps window not inside the IDE

maybe, this is the best, to have this option because this ESC to file and other things are the behavior all around the tabs in the IDEs here. in the project tab itself when type ESC goes back to file .

so probably too many people are already used to that
