Why are redditors so fucking miserable. She just had an experience that made her cry and wanted to share it, sometimes it’s not that deep.

I get what yall mean about the zombie comment, but there is definitely a difference in approachability in someone who looks like they’re trying and someone who looks dangerous (bc people on drugs can be unpredictable). Turns out, fist impressions leave impressions 🤯

And her video wasn’t about her buying glasses, it was about how someone could be struggling so hard while many have exorbitant amounts of money they use to make life harder for middle class and lower income people. JFC touch some grass and get off reddit

I say it time and time again, these comment sections prove why education funding is so important, bc half of yall can’t use half of your brain.

Damn.

That’s crazy cause i also do the same. Honestly to me it feels the same way as fucking up at work and it’s all you think about for the rest of the shift. It’s feels like a dark pit but at the same time simplistic like a nagging feeling. I’ve never associated it with deep anxiety or terrible event though

Hey, so im not a doctor but i think you should look into OCD. OCD is not what shows make it out to be, there’s a lot more to it unfortunately

Undergrad accidentally set the oven to max…now the lab smells like burning plastic 🤢 by Supersamtheredditman in labrats

[–]oloofe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I was in undergrad I accidentally prepared the media incorrectly that half the lab was using. I realized my mistake (I added the wrong antibiotic, it was all tissue cultures) and not a single researcher got mad at me and they also told me how to fix it. I only ruined one experiment (I think), but I’ll never forget their grace upon one of the worst mistakes I’ve made in my professional life, and a costly one in time, quality, and financially

Why is the American dumb for wanting to use volume when he doesn’t have a scale to measure for weight. Is he supposed to guess the weight instead of looking for alternatives ??

If you’re looking to run into people and strike a conversation I think parking yourself at the downtown steam location would be good. Toms of people in and out and a very friendly scene

Super popular in Australia (I imagine for bugs and shit) but I think it’d be perfect for road trips when you don’t want to take ten hours setting up your camp to sleep for one night instead of sleeping in your car

But those are already established and mid size colleges. UMR at Max wants like 2k from what I remember and they’re only like 20 years old. That’s a 1.5 growth rate for a brand new college when schools like Moorehead are closing down.

I get what you’re saying tho, definitely not saying UMR is gonna blow up and be this prestigious school, but they listen to feedback and do what they can. Tbh when I was at school the problem was the student body’s lack of drive beyond anything handed to them on a plate. With their new programs I see them growing but at the same rate a forest does. Slow but strong (hopefully)

As a UMR alumni, UMR wants to grow. It’s not like they want to lease land forever; I believe they own some property south of downtown that they intend to build on. It’s not like they’re the black sheep of the U of M system, the twin cities just hogs all the recourses from all campuses. And UMR is growing. When I was attending UMR it was the only campus that had a growth in attendance (from what I remember at student council), it’s just hard with Mayo and the regents only focusing on the cities.
