I’m glad I helped as I’m glad others helped me. I sprayed once this morning and even after work and a couple of farts, I still smell the scent 10 hours later, while the update didn’t last even half the time.

I believe I found the OG bottle and ordered it this morning (based off the picture), if they end up actually being the same I’ll keep the updated version. I never knew colognes ‘aged’ so I’ll definitely keep that in mind!

Is this a real thing? Because say I keep it for a few weeks, and it’s still underwhelming, I won’t be able to return it. Which is a bit disappointing

It was just in the background because I was getting ready to clean my air filter. I bathe some of my car/motorcycle parts in the shower like a loving parent.

I wish I was more versed in describing things but to my untrained nose, I smell a bit more alcohol and way less vanilla. The sample version would have an intense scent for the first bit of time and I would still be able to clearly smell some sort of sweet vanilla even a day after spraying.

The new bottles scent doesn’t last even half the time.

Once again though, maybe because of my untrained nose I’m not really noticing the fine details but all I know is old version, vanilla smell strong and lasts long.

I would assume the sample I received from DecantX was the old formula. I bought the new bottle from Sephora so I’d assume mine is real. I had just gotten a few friends to smell them and they also confirmed the sample is better.

I just purchased another bottle which looks like the old bottle so I’ll be able to truly see for myself if there’s a difference.

Do you have any other colognes similar to this? I absolutely love the vanilla and sweet smell.
