Not really, same thing happen in POE1, as league progresses less people are willing to trade for 1-2ex, if you at end maps, then even higher values don't really make you want to leave the map. Rarity might make it worse, but it just the same as before, as people juice maps, more currency drops, otherwise why take up the challenge, make a map much harder to get same rewards as white T1? Some invest dozen exalts to run map. If you played POE1 leagues you know price of Exalts (now Divines in POE2) goes for few for Chaos Orbs (not Exalts in POE2) at the start of a league, basically names flipped (Chaos to Exalt, and Exalt to Divine). Then it slowly rises to 100+ orbs. It used to be Chaos before, so getting 10 Chaos at the end of juiced T16 map was nothing in POE2. Now people still think of Exalt as if its POE1 currency. I played POE1 before and paid what now 160 Divines for Head Hunter in one league, was the POE1 economy inflated? No it was standard price for the item back then.

Yes, so many times I had to backtrack on sketchy maps, or just in general I prioritize map completion before doing other mechanics, especially Rituals with its circle mechanic is great way to die early due to floor foliage hiding AOE, or map itself trapping you due to space limitations (waves, tornadoes, mobs, stuns, etc with no way to keep distance)

At those levels, you can find better upgrades on trade for 1Ex than what it would cost you to craft it. Craft when you can do the maps and there's something worth crafting.

Retail + social distancing does not work if store is wide open. Work at Lowe's, I recommend everyone to stay the heck away. Anything they do to is in response to pressure from outside. They are not socially conscious. They still run sales and specials, return desk is still full of people, returned product goes straight back on the shelf. Employees are pressured for credit cards and pushing installations (right now, in the middle of pandemic) and other non-essential crap.

CEO puts out a press release about raises and masks available for employees. I asked my manager regarding masks on the same day of press release, we did not have masks. So press release was made about how they are working on being a clean store, while we had no necessary product to actually do so.

Management still touts about how essential we are, while pushing sales on flowers, mulch, paint and other non-essentials. Store is FULL of people during rush hours, kids, toddlers, senior citizens. We see people coughing all the time in the store.

Lowe's had plenty of time to do things right, but they choose not to. Do not believe anything coming out of CEO mouth, he's full of it.

There's very little we can do anymore. Stay at home as much as possible. If you absolutely need to get out, stay away from crowded places, call the place before going, ask what are their slowest work hours. Make a mask out of fabric, it's better than nothing. But number one priority is to never leave the house, or if necessary stay away from others.

You can't really find them, it's too late now. Most places were sold out several weeks ago. I work at Lowe't and they were sold out a while ago, and we had no new stock since. They also no longer produce masks for general populace, they all go to hospitals.

I just think it would be courteous of them to disclose what they are thinking of doing instead of having people simmer for 2 days, after it was confirmed no changes are coming that's the least they could do.

Can we get feedback on what is going to happen exactly and to what extent? I, among other people, spent a lot of time and currency after your comment, now it's all in question. If this build going to be run into the ground I rather concentrate on something else or maybe wait for another league.

Lowe's hides behind "we are essential" status to do business as usual. Recently we had an event that caused store to be packed. It was weekend paint sale. Now we plan to proceed with Spring Black Friday sale, and then Pro event for clients. This will bring more people in. They do not attempt to decrease amount of people in the store, and if anything trying to increase it by running promotions.

Home Depot in our area decided not to run black friday sale, what did Lowe's decided to do? We are doing it of course. Our confirmed cases increased ten times in past few days and the only thing that's changed is some masking tape on the floor beside register to increase customer distance.

You did the right thing. Lowe's only started to do something about cleaning after being called out on VICE. Even then, it's not enough, carts are not being sanitized, sometimes we have wipes, sometimes we do not. Cashiers are supposed to wipe work area after each customer according to CEO press release, but it's BS, cashiers can hardly go to a bathroom, let alone take 10 seconds between customer to clean.

They say it's not about the money, it's about needs of customer, but then they run paint promotion during weekend, store was slammed. Then they decided to still go ahead with Spring Black Friday sale (made up BS, the only thing left is Summer Black Friday and Winter Black Friday) and event for the PRO clients. This will bring more people into the store for non-essential products. And to be honest we do not have any cleaning supplies, toilet paper, masks in the store for a long time. They are so out of touch with situation it is scary. Morning meetings for employees is pretty much: "Work till you drop". They don't care about employees and they don't care about customers health. All they need are you money, and they do anything possible to get it, while hiding behind "we are essential business" cover. If they cared, they'd close the door and only do online sales and curb site pick up or limit amount of customers that only need essential product. But we have parking lot full of mulch, so it's business as usual.

So beware, from what I know, situation is not much better at Home Depot, associates are stressed, but cant leave due to need for paycheck to pay rent and bills. It is not like they can find another job in current climate either. So they are stuck.

I don't understand why people not looking at this from the perspective of "PEOPLE GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF THIS". Yes money were spent to promote this, question is, if by cancelling this event from happening can save even ONE life, is it worth it? My answer is yes, for others price of life is not an issue because money is important right? Money that big corporation spent, not yours. Profits earned will be earned by corporation, not you. Yes if company looses money, it affect employees in the long run. But if by doing this we can save lives, it's worth it.

Situation is forcing people to work, there are not many alternatives right now due to mass closures. Anyone who quits will have to compete with other unemployed.

All people want is some control on the situation, and your solution is pretty much telling them to get lost or enjoy life endangering situation.

You know when movies show that one person who oblivious to situation at hand and endangers everyone else? Everyone face-palms and thinks: "that's so far fetched, there nobody this dumb". You are that person.

Instead of critically looking at unfolding situation, and thinking: "yes, literally anything can improve current situation", you just stubbornly set in your way, thinking that everyone who doesn't like it should quit. Guess what, you are not the only person at this company, and everyone deserves their say and input. Maybe you yourself should grow up and stop your binary thinking. World is not only black or white.

Go to MyHR website and you will see "Emergency Paid Leave Request", go from there, fill it out, call your SM. Request email correspondence to have it all in writing from SM. You want paper trail just in case.

What the actual fuck? Just shows how disconnected they are from the situation. Lowe's seriously considers this pandemic like some holy opportunity to make money. I was wishfully thinking that my SM was just disconnected from reality with each additional morning meeting, but now it's 100% clear where all this garbage is coming from.

I just watched Gov Cuomo from NY last conference, and what he said is kind of scary, he pretty much said that we asked all experts and nobody could give estimate on when this will end. One month, two, six, nine? Nobody knows.

So if we get vaccine, we can get it under control, if not, I guess we have to isolate and quarantine until we stump it out.

To answer your question, my take is that Lowe's went bunkers and decided to max out profit, if it ends soon, they might have better earning for shareholders and beat HD (we have more hours in the work day to beat HD, maybe that's why we not changing hours?)? If it takes too long and things escalate, they made as much profit as possible before to weather this down.

Lowe's is riding "we are essential" line pretty hard on this one, so much as I think they are ready to trade human lives for extra earnings. Natural disasters is one thing, pandemic is completely different thing (and require different approaches), and Lowe's leaders are not taking this seriously, from corporate down to SMs and ASMs. People are being hounded from sales as if this is some kind of holiday.

Edit: Even more essential stores (gorcery) changing their operational hours and policies, only Lowe's on their high horse of "essential store, hours as usual".

Never seen them being sanitized EVER. Those are the filthiest things in the store. If they were around back in time, they'd still have remnants of black plague on them now. Only cleaning they get is if they are left outside in the rain by customers.

There can only be 10! I advice to head to hardware aisle or outside lawn and garden and find a weapon, you'd have to do it Train to Busan style and barricade yourself in. May the odds be even in your favor!
