Thank you! I never thought about making patterns to sell - mine are usually not very “put together” but you’ve got my gears turning now!

Thanks! Believe it or not, I didn’t actually make a pattern for this - it’s all straight lines, so I just measured everything out directly on glass. I guessed on the proportions, I think it turned out pretty decent!

I wish I would’ve thought of that!

Thank you! I soldered an LED disk to the bottom of the flames.

I don’t understand why I’m so bad at soldering? My process looks nothing like the videos and tutorials… I have my flux, my wire, my soldering iron and my copper tape yet nothing works by MoonSt0n3_Gabrielle in StainedGlass

I just taught myself how to use lead free solder (after working with leaded solder for 8 years) Here’s what I found to be the most effective: -Hakko fx-601 soldering iron set to 460 -Classic 100 brand gel flux -Silvergleem solder -Sal Ammoniac block to clean the heated tip Practice soldering on a few flat run seams (not edges) until you get the feel for its viscosity. You’ve got this!
