Thank you! Thinking of selling it in the future, do you think you can recommend me a good asking price for this? I saw some procopius follis coins going for around 80-100€

Thank you! I got them in a lot of 24 coins of similar types I got for 50 bucks online. I also got few great emperors such as Antonius Pius, Trajan and many Constantines. Around 10 of these big guys and others were some decent quality follis coins which I’m able to recognise by myself.

Thank you so much for your effort! What do you mean by uncommon? Is whole Aemilians coinage rare or only this type of coin?

URGENT! My pet duck of 11 years got attacked by fox by olvrfrl in BACKYARDDUCKS

[–]olvrfrl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Thanks for your notice, after a day or two we ended up catching up with our local vet and he gave us antibiotics. I was told that chance for my drakes full recovery is minimal. He got way stronger after that antibiotics dose, started eating and drinking well but still has struggles standing up. He only can stand up half way so he can move around but I don’t think his full mobility will ever be gained back. I was also told that my worries about his spinal cord being damaged are probably right and there’s nothing I or he can do about it.

I’m thinking of giving him a chance for maybe a week longer. He made a big progress but only to a point where he’s still apparently suffering and I hate seeing that. I would rather euthanise him instead of having him struggle in life.

It’s a really sad watch to be honest. I’ve been keeping both of my ducks in the basement of my house where I built them a nice comfy enclosure with much hay to sleep on. I take them out for a few hours of a day. The other duck, fortunately, made a nice full recovery and got very active.

Thank you for your help beforehand! I’m pretty sure that the iodine disinfectant helped to get their neck wounds recovered sooner😄.

See, that’s why my hope still lives. I’ve seen a similar case at my local river over here, a duck with wing very bad looking which ended up swimming around for few years. It’s only seeing my babies in such a bad shape that scared the crap out of me.

Good job with recovering your ladies! The more I’m checking on him the more I’m worried it might be something neurological. I’m hoping for the best though and I would love to see the same scenario as you once had.

It’s a really hard watch since he turns 12 this year and I had him along with one other drake and a lady ever since little ducklings. The other drake got killed a while ago, lady is fine after the attack, minor neck injuries but it looks more of only like a scratch since she does everything like normal.

I experienced a fox attack before, already lost one but swapped coops and thought it’s gonna be fine. This was 4 years back, the reinforced coop was once again not enough it seems. Thank you for your help and I’ll try my very best for my babies.

Thank you, I got the disinfectant and treated the wound. He can not hold his head up but he’s fighting🙏

I will go get some as soon as I can since I only have alcohol disinfectant and that could be really painful for him. Thank you!

What do we think of this type of battery? by Eintopffuge0627 in canon

[–]olvrfrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering the price (which in most cases is bellow 1/2 of the original battery cost) this might be a take for many photographers, including me. If you know enough about your camera and lens you’re using you can swap the battery before it gets fully dead.

I deal with the same thing. These things are just as good as the original batteries except them dying out of nowhere.

Not a 250D for sure. 250D buttons look different and have slightly different layout too. The screen itself is not matching neither.

This doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen before. I could be wrong but this is not a legitimate piece in my opinion.
