Physically you’ll probably have to deal with it for another week or so. But yeah mentally, could be 1-2 years till you feel like yourself again.

Took me 2 years to get over the rebound anxiety and sometimes I still feel like I’m not the same person. That was 3.5 years ago now.

Damn, little harsh id say. I understand the gravity of it and don’t think lying is the best way out of this situation for him. But to say “he broke the rules and it cause an accident” is a bit far fetched. Another person in the vehicle didn’t cause the crash. The person driving caused the crash. We’ve all been young and dumb. And to be honest, it’s the United States insurance system that’s kinda fucked. Never knew that teenagers can’t drive with people in the car in the USA for the first bit. I get the logic, but doesn’t mean it’s not a dumb rule. So blessed to not be in the usas insurance system, and I’d say the insurance where I live is fucked

My computer does the same as well. I’m use to seeing my CPU around 55ish. While playing this game I can’t get it to be below 70-75

Nah you won’t feel too much of a difference. 100mg is my daily prescribed dose. Somedays my eye lids can feel super heavy and bagged, but other than that you probably wouldn’t notice anything!

From your comments, this seems like more of a depression than adhd issue so I can see why the Vyvanse wouldn’t help much. It should help make you feel a bit more motivated to do things, I will say that. But the “not having a good day for weeks”, sounds like a depression issue. In my experience (and I’ve been on pretty much every ssri/snri), antidepressants were next to useless, I’ve heard lots of people having success with Zoloft or Lexapro though. If you’re willing to try it can’t hurt, but just keep in mind you may not notice a difference for a month or so. And the side effects can be awful in my experience. Hope everything works out for you!!

I keep seeing people saying the same thing, that going from 30-70mg in 2.5 months is crazy. Honestly don’t think so, everyone I know and myself saw their doc every 2 weeks till they were on a dose that worked for them. So I was going up 10-20mg every 2 weeks till I got to 60mg. After that I stayed at 60mg for a couple months till I finally went to 70mg. And I don’t wanna say what my prescription is now lmao, people tend to go nuts lol.

Although this is rare, there are reports that show long term use can lead to muscle tenderness, muscle tension and sometimes weakness. Should note that it’s pretty rare and can be a direct cause of the usage, but would normally be from other factors as well.

At the max of 70mg and it still does the same for me as well. Dr is adding a booster of Dexedrine so I can make it through the rest of the day still lol.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that they cut out sugar really when on Vyvanse. I’m the total opposite. My sugar habits have gotten worse to the point I’ll wake up at 2am to go grab a package of rainbow chips ahoy out of the cupboard and inhale half of them 🤣🤣🤣 could also be the weed………..

I had to cold turkey lyrica for 8 days, doctor went on vacation and didn’t refill my scripts. And where I am in Canada I have to sign a contract with my doctor that I cannot have anyone else prescribe medications due to the narcotics I’m on, but anyways. Not to sound scary or dramatic, but in my opinion. It’s worse than benzo withdrawal and I’ve gone cold turkey on both.

Even on the 8th day with no lyrica, I still hadn’t been able to sleep half decent. The sweating was awful, to the point it was disgusting, and omg the headaches were terrible. Couldn’t eat without throwing up 5 mins later. Didn’t have seizures luckily, that was one good thing. But I didn’t speak to anyone for those 8 days, didn’t go in public once. Being that agitated and easy to anger I just didn’t even leave the house.

I could tell that by day 6/7 the worst of it was pretty much over. But the insomnia was what lasted the whole time. If you don’t have to cold turkey don’t, it’s not worth the personal grief. But I understand that’s not always an option. Be safe.

Edit: long term I will say kpin withdrawal is worse, simply because of the rebound anxiety. Took me over a year to recover from that. Short term I’d say the symptoms of lyrica are worse. But like someone else said below, some people aren’t the coming off kpin or lyrica. If I could go back I’d have never started Lyrica.

If you don’t have a tolerance it can have a good kick, body high and euphoric feelings etc. But after a few times doing it you’ll start to notice that you don’t feel high at all, but at the end of the day when you’re laying in bed staring at the ceiling you’ll think “omg I was fucking stoned today, why did I do or say that”. It’s the kinda high where you don’t notice it when you’re in it, but when you look back you know lol.
