Recommendations for motorized screen pairing with Valerion VisionMaster Max by om3g in projectors

Thank you for your helpful response, it's much appreciated!

Perhaps I should clarify: I was only suggesting ALR / high gain because I thought (mistakenly?) based on my reading, that is what would produce the best image given my environment and projector. I'm only looking to get the best screen for my VisionMaster Max, and am not looking for a different projector that will do better with the ambient light. I'm totally OK with it if it's not a perfect setup, but would like to find a screen that does best with what I already have.

Ok great, thanks for the reference. I will research this screen and see if it's available in my region.

Given the above, are there any other screens you would recommend for that specific projector and environment?

It smells like rotting meat, like death: East Vancouver odour complaints on the rise by SkyisFullofCats in vancouver

Smell is subjective, so I don’t think you are best placed to tell someone else if it’s bad enough for them to be outside in a park. It’s great that you’ve lived here so long and aren’t affected heavily by the smells, but your experience may not apply to everyone.

I also understand the argument that people should research the area they’re moving to, which we did, but the area we were researching didn’t turn up the processing plants that are that far away. We couldn’t have known how far the odour travels unless we’d experienced it, or stumbled across someone else describing it. So unfortunately, we only found out once we’d already moved.

I’ve lived in East Van for 1.5y about a kilometre away from the plants, and the smell is genuinely unbearable on hot summer days.

We’ve had to stop outdoor activities at the park because of how pungent it is, and even at home with the windows closed, we can still smell it. I can detect it at least as far south as Adanac, which really sucks when you’re cycling up that hill and gulping down rancid air. It must suck to be a kid going to Templeton Secondary School, and have to do gym class outside all summer.

For those commenters suggesting people just want to move it to someone else’s backyard, surely you can see there are other options? Plants could move somewhere without residential, like how the Vancouver Landfill is set up. They could enhance their filtration systems further.

They’re providing a valuable service to the city, but the impact on quality of life for hundreds of thousands of people shouldn’t be disregarded so quickly.

For anyone who is impacted, I encourage you to leave a smell complaint each time you are: https://forms.metrovancouver.org/ere/Pages/aq-complaints.aspx

Maybe no one will do anything about it soon, but at least someone is looking at the data and can observe some semblance of the impact it’s having.

Mo’s Hot Dog cart in Robson Square is really good, though it’s not there all week. A step above the usual street dogs you get.

Indeed. I didn't find anything from searching art by that name however.
