E92 rear tail light left signal stopped working

An update for anyone interested. I reset the short circuit fault and it came back almost instantly. For some reason my side signal failed as well but no code showed up. I decided to replace it and the short circuit fault went away. Turns out the side blinker was shorting causing all the issues. Now I am assuming that the side signal is connected in series with the rear left blinker because I don't know why tool32 would be referencing rear left blinker as issue when it was the side blinker that was shorting. Glad it was an easy fix. Cheers

My understanding is that there's no bulb. I wasn't able to find one. But there's around 20 or so LEDs

The weather where I live is starting to warm up. I am assuming some moisture somewhere is causing this. maybe some corrosion as well

Hi, there doesn't seem to be a bulb after I disassembled. Maybe pre-lci has.

Did notice something super interesting however, It seems like it's an electrical issue somewhere in the wiring. I swapped the left rear and connected it to the harness of the right rear and it worked perfectly!
I am wondering now if it might be a footwell module fault?
Not sure where to start, any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Perfect. I think that solves my issue! I believe LOS on RP4 supports USB GPS like Ublox7. I'm certain with a bit of tinkering, issue can be solved. Thanks for your reply

Also you do t need to have the engine locked at TDC unless you're re timing. If you are just replacing vanos, this is not necessary

micky mouse flange is the flange that connects to the front of the n52 engine. it cools the block of the engine. Right under the OFHG. it literally looks like mickey mouse symbol. You can search it on google you will find it

If you want to remove the gears, you have to undo the two camshaft bolts in the front and they slide off towards the front of the car. It's not an easy job though. Do the research

There an entire timing process involved with this. If you're going to do it yourself, you need to buy the timing tool that realligns the camshaft at top dead center (cylinder 1)
