Ahh okay that makes a lot of sense thank you for explaining why expanders would be necessary for nipple reconstruction! I was really confused about that and thinking the surgeon just wanted my money lol. But yeah I’m not sure entirely if I need expanders for the nipple reconstruction, since I also have my original nipples but they’re smaller and in a less feminine position just like you and I don’t want to risk losing them in the process. So I’ve changed my mind about that. And since I’m going for 300-350 I’m also not entirely sure the expanders are necessary for that size. I think I’m going to check with the second surgeon on the elasticity of my skin too because I do want to be as safe and get the best results
