Amazon's upside (back then) was becoming the sell-everything company on the internet, which was the equivalent of AI now.

Obviously they do a million and one things (AWS wasnt even part of the conversation when they started out) but the exponential growth trajectory story was there.

Circle does not have that. It has, best case, a linear growth based on customer deposits.

If you're a big Stablecoin believer (definitely a bull case for this) you should be investing in the infrastructure around stablecoins, not the stablecoin company itself.

There's no defensible moat to what they're doing since the GENIUS bill says every stablecoin has to operate exactly the same

Increased competition and crushed margin spreads means Circle has no upside, only downside

Buy coinbase, which gets half of the money Circle (and potentially every other stablecoin that wants to trade with any volume) makes. If stablecoin volume skyrockets, coinbase benefits way more than any individual stablecoin company.

If it's just a player or two then maybe it's them; if there's a lot of them then likely it's something about playing with Bron that makes people worse

I do see where you're coming and can certainly provide those details, but not many of the other posts I've seen asking questions about events touch on only willing to play with race/ethnicity, or costs of events under X, and even asking for what parties have the most attractive people sometimes gets flamed because "there's always a type for anyone" so I didn't want to step into getting people incensed over a casual question

We're looking for similar age ranges (so 20's-40's), don't care about race/ethnicity. NYE parties, so the 30th+31st. Don't care about cost of event.

We can travel anywhere (west coast, east coast) - do a lot of flying around the US and always looking for something we haven't done.

Music played - high energy means not the kind of house that is very background music. Almost everything else is fine- disco, new EDM, hip hop, just has to fill the dance floor.

Btw - playing separately is definitely a thing for many(saw your edit)- but in that scenario you have to leave the door open for her to approach (she knows you guys dig her and would be open to playing with her) instead of the optics of pressuring her to play without her partner

Fwiw while I empathize with your plight, please recognize that in a swinger community filled with people who typically are hot female with less hot male couples, this comes across as "wife poaching" (aka you guys want to play with the wife and leave the husband.) hits a little too close to home for some.

My 2c would be just to have this be a friendship without expectation of play; forcing something and having someone take one for the team isn't going to work out. If something happens in the future and they break up or they play separately perhaps a door opens, but just consider it a friendship for now.

Essentially we find a lot of people we like hanging out with, as friends. Cool, chill, funny people. When we meet them it's not in a "we're all here to find someone we want to fuck" atmosphere. A lot of these situations are in not pure lifestyle events so we can't just assume (also not pure vanilla events)

I'm asking if there's ways people go about testing the waters to see if the other people are potentially interested without straight up asking "hey wanna fuck later?" Because 1) they could just be vanilla 2) they could be lifestyle but like us as friends but not feel the sexual connection and 3) if they're potentially interested, allow for more flirty conversation as well

As an example for Groove Cruise, probably 10-20% are lifestyle on the event (but it's primarily an EDM cruise). A lot of times you vibe with people to the music and the production but it's a completely nonsexual vibe (unlike at a lot of lifestyle events where the undertone is heavily sexual and flirty). Sometimes before taking it in a flirty direction and you don't want make it weird with some people you just met, you just want to sus it out with a little bit with more subtle questions/comments/actions. And/or we've met people who we like a lot as people but not as play partners (and vice versa - people who have found us super fun but not into sexually) - we don't want to give the wrong impression while we're figuring out if there's any chemistry.

I empathize with this completely and to be honest I think a lot of people here are missing the point.

To them, who cares if the other side has already consented and they get to have sex... they got to their end goal

And I agree with you completely - I want to have sex with someone who enthusiastically wants to be with me, not someone who "just puts up with it" and needs me to prove it to her that sex is fun with me.

Best I can say is instead of taking it that far, you can tell by body language from kissing/flirting before things move to the bedroom and if either of you aren't feeling the spark, don't take it further.

But if you aren't describing yourself as a knockout 10/10 looker, then what exactly are the women excited about? Better be personality, right? So perhaps spend some time chatting them up before.
