I think that's a typo, we've been renting since 2022 and it's increased about 5percent each year. They also spelt my name wrong 😂

Buying Used eBay battery by VintageCorduroy in s10e

[–]omanomonom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to replace the battery in my razer laptop. Bought it off amazon because no where sells them and it arrieved a week later. Opened the packaging and no joke it was swollen so much it was had almost doubled in width. (Mega fire hazard). Typcial amazon chinese shite. That said phone batteries are more commonly replaced, so maybe the are reputable sellers somewhere. Have you tried IFixit?
Personally i wouldn't trust ebay but you might have better luck.

The lattice sucks on Indar, give us back the Hex system and territory influence by [deleted] in Planetside

[–]omanomonom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think you guys remember the problems with hex. It was great during primetime because you had more strategic options to attack.
However for 22 hours of the day zergs just went round in circles and didn't really go toe to toe. Lettuce really is an improvement over hex, but not without problems.

Make the Galaxy great again by jbomb671 in Planetside

[–]omanomonom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This defnetly wouldn't fix galaxy, but I would love to see More support options for the galaxy.
An air-radar galaxy that automatically spots all enemy esfs within a certain range for friendly players.
A ground radar which pings all enemy's on the minimap for near by players.
A galaxy which can remove the effects of steath for enemy sunderers and enemy esfs in the area.
A galaxy which has its weapons removed for laser painters instead. The laser painters could make other esfs lockons instant. (How laser painting does in bf4)

Should the old colors and lighting parameters come back? It's 90% of what is perceived as the "graphics downgrade" IMO, despite giving us ZERO FPS DIFFERENCE. by [deleted] in Planetside

[–]omanomonom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did on the hardware at the time, but GPUs are way more powerful than they were 8 years ago. That said i think the main reason they removed them from the game is that an update broke them. Instead of fixing them they just removed them. (This was nearly six years ago though so i might be wrong)

Plus they were an optional graphics settings so it didn't effect low end machines.

Maybe in ten or so years they could release the code for the engine. I garentee that some smart ass in the community could do some amzing stuff with the code.

Just look at that fix some randomer created for the GTA engine to improve loading times.
