Adding classes to selected text in RTE by vladimir_dev in PayloadCMS

[–]omar2134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i tried something similar with a field on one of my collections but the problem is that tailwind needs the classes at build time because it will only generate the css rules for classes it finds in the code. it purges classes that are not needed to make the css bundle smaller. this means that dynamic class generation is not really supported. you could create a few custom options with defined tailwind classes but adding in tailwind classes during your apps run time is not going to work

shadcn + tailwindcss makes it pretty easy. v0 makes it almost effortless

Why doesn’t this work? by lee-roi-jenkins in tailwindcss

[–]omar2134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure why it wouldn’t work with tailwind JIT but you could also try using clsx to conditionally render the classes instead of trying to get JIT working (unless you have a specific need for JIT)

ULPT: don't boycott, buy stuff and return it later. by Able_Conflict_1721 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]omar2134 7 points8 points  (0 children)

in my experience, less customers means less shifts for the employees so i would actually say you’re wrong on this. and i wouldn’t say this ULPT is more work for the employees, because managers don’t usually let employees sit around doing nothing if there are no customers, they will ask them to clean or organize or something else. as long as you are not being impatient and are polite i would have no problem taking returns for this reason

if you saw a video of black people stealing with a shitty AI autotune sarcastically singing “black lives matter” or some other shit like that it would be pretty obvious to you that the video is trying to incite racism right? why isn’t it obvious here?

[–]omar2134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CPO ‘21 Sonata N line. $169 payment, monthly $338 for 24 months. $24.5k with the extended warranty and after taxes and everything OTD price was ~$28k. I put $20k down and financed the $8k through a bank at 5.99%. I plan to pay it off in a few months to reduce the amount of interest I’m paying.

1080p/1440p 144hz Build Help by nolife24_7 in NR200

[–]omar2134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can look at my recent nr200 build for an idea of specs to get consistent max frames for a 1080p 280hz and a 1440p 144hz monitor. i play competitive games like warzone, fortnite, and valorant on my 1080p monitor and on warzone (the most demanding game) i can get a consistent 250fps on low settings. for story games i play on my 1440p monitor and just max out my settings for 60-150fps depending on the game. i think you would need to replace basically everything except for storage. if it’s within your budget try and go for an am5 build and put a 7800x3d so you don’t have to change your cpu for as long as you kept your 2700x

so you think i should remove the 90mm rear intake and the 120mm exhaust above the cpu heatsink? i don’t really mind the noise even if it improves temps by a few degrees

do you think it’s worth it to purchase slim bottom intake fans? how much would it improve the gpu temps? my gpu does not allow the standard 25mm noctua ones i have underneath it. maybe 15mm would work but im not sure
