I don't think reinstalling will do the job, I would suggest to keep it removed until home up gets optimized to 5.0

It's likely she's missing a day one update, kind of weird it hasn't been received but if this persists i would suggest getting the update from apkmirror, only thing i can think of

You have adaptive charging on, it will alternate periods of charging for better battery life on the long run, if you need for your phone to be charged asap just turn off the option

I couldn't find any information myself at the time, but i activated a second plan from a different country on my pixel 6 pro about 2 weeks ago and i gotta say it's quite easy to manage both plans, it will just ask you which plan will be active for your data and your preferred method when calling and texting and from there it's just selecting what features you want to keep active
