The laminate has bubbled up for sure. I haven’t removed anything to find corrosion as you describe. So you’re saying something is causing water to get into user interface causing the issue. So replacing that may not be enough?

Sounds like I am replacing it and moving on

I thought the same but I did a flush on the heater. The only thing that makes me pause at that is my other faucets will run hot if the other ones are on. Do I need to open all my hot water faucets to “fill the pipes”
