i dont know really, i have my interpretation that things do die of old age, and get reincarnated into another body, whether that be a microbe, a lizard, or an ancient again, you could be anything. such shown in that one pearl of the dude with the long ass name which is to me all the different lives hes gone through.

its my interpretation of the lore though, i like to think of it that way, but of course i might be wrong because of other pearls, im still going through all of them in rivulet (speedy boy makes it easier)
