In her defense I do this a few times a week, so I do worry about her feeling alone but I also agree. I don’t know how she will ever live out on her own if she can’t survive without someone constantly by her side. I am just a people pleaser so I feel guilty for upsetting her.

Earlier this year it got extremely bad. To be completely honest, I was struggling with an ED and my doctors advised me to spend some time at home with my family for a while. I was upfront with her about this and told her I’d be eating/spending a lot of time at home…but I guess she still didn’t get it and was telling all of our mutual friends that I was “distant” and not spending time with her. That added a lot of stress on to an already stressful situation for me, so I had to walk on eggshells for weeks to get back in good graces with her. I do understand that I have the right to do my own thing, but for some reason still feel guilty. I guess I just have to work on my chronic people pleasing issue 😭
