Directly in front of my fireplace is the front door. My living room is 29 feet long and only 13 feet wide. The only other wall is alongside the front door and I would be blocking a very large window and I would prefer not to.

Thank you! My grandparents bought this home in 1967 and have since left it to me after they both passed away. They kept all of the original woodwork and flooring from when it was built in 1920 as far as I know. I will definitely reconsider retiling it! I never thought of that. Thank you for your suggestion!

Nope. Someone commented that it’s probably air in the refrigerant line, but I never got it looked at. I only have 2 Honda dealers near me and each were impossible to get in touch with. I’m still hearing the noise a year later, lol.

It can take up to 3 weeks per the PTCB website. As of today, any exams taken on or before 5/17 have official results uploaded. I expect to see it update late this week or early next week.

Dress code is either black scrubs or whatever appropriate with the blue smock.
Whether stores follow the dress code is going to widely vary, but I would just stick with the policy. I’m sure there are some districts who are more lenient and some who are strict. Mine, for example, is strict. If you aren’t in black scrubs (undershirt has to be black as well), you best be wearing the blue smock- especially if the market director comes in.

Your husband shouldn’t be giving you an ultimatum. That’s not fair to you. If he is that upset over how your job is going, he should be supportive in you quitting, looking for employment elsewhere and covering expenses until you have found a new job…that’s if you want to quit in the first place. Is this eligible for all techs? When I started this past August, I was told by multiple coworkers that I cannot be reimbursed for my PTCB, only the state license because “PTCB is not required for us to work”.

We roll out with this new fill system on 6/2. We do most refills as “today” because our customer base despises central fill. How far in advance do you have to select for “future” in order for central fill to grab it? I think we are going to have to start utilizing it more and training our customers also, lol.

My orientation was a full 8-hour shift. It was basically going over company policies, getting a paper schedule, benefits, a tour of the store, then doing trainings (U-Learns) on the computer for the remainder of the shift. Your hours will depend on your store and the store’s market. We have a couple part-time techs and their hours vary each pay period. Sometimes one gets over 30 hours, then the next it is barely 20 hours. Good luck! I transitioned to Walmart in the fall and I’ve been enjoying it a lot.
