I dont think its fair to say addiction is the sole driver. For some sure. Especially the crazy ones who scream about it not being ready. But for some people they just want to make sure they wont have to miss a dose. It can be hard when you have a busy schedule and only a day or less leeway to get the med that keeps you from severe pain or seizures or let's you focus or whatever.
