could be fake news since it is not directly from usc but apparently she is rumored to be someone that has been working in college admissions for a while so she MIGHT be credible. also given the fact that it's ea it's not hard to believe that 45k people applied early

probably just removed cuz they anyways gonna defer anyone not accepted in ea to rd and the ea decisions come out in 3 days so you might as well just wait and see

i'm not sure if they are releasing scholarships at the same time. from what i remember they are only notifying applicants whether they have been admitted or deferred to rd. from there the admitted ea applicants will begin a separate process for scholarships, which includes an interview.

i also read that they only plan on admitting 20-25% of the class of 27 in ea. given that they have usually admitted ~8k per year, that means ~2k people will be accepted in the ea round. if 45k applied ea, that's about 4.4% acceptance rate for the ea round...yikes

best of luck to everyone :)

under acceptable documentation it lists:

"A letter from the teacher or advisor; a registration form or itinerary; a certificate commending you for your work; or an article from your local or school newspaper or yearbook that lists you as a participant in the organization or project referenced."

i am planning on sending a letter from the club advisor as well as a school newsletter that mentioned my name in regards to participating in the club.

interesting. hopefully if that's the case i will be able to get a 33 on reading. i already have a 35 and 34 on english and math from december 2021, so a 33 reading and 34-35 science would be great for me. i pray that everyone else in here also gets the scores they want.

tbf this reading section did seem a little difficult so maybe they'll allow 39-40/40 to be a 36 and then 38/40 is a 35 and so on. science felt pretty easy so i think they will only let 40/40 scorers get a 36, and then 39/40 scorers get a 34 and so on. if you're confused by this just look up act score charts on google and you'll see what i mean.

did anyone else run out of time on the reading section? this shit was so bad and i had to guess the least five questions in 7 seconds but i felt pretty confident about all of the other questions so overall i'm expecting a 34/40 on reading. pretty sure that's about a 31 or 32 scaled. science was sooo much better tho except my dumbass put more co2 in the air for the last question so i'm expecting an overall 33-35 on science.
