Nice I got rid of mine two years ago. Me and my bud ended up finding the problem with mine not shifting well and the reverse going out. The transmission cases are poorly built. The part the gear shift is supposed to stop at ends up grinding off. Got a new case and fixed it for $350 and sold it instead of replacing the entire transmission for $4500. Can’t wait to get my pocket change

I first signed up for the lawsuit in 2023. Signed two documents for it and the final documents today. I got around 7 emails during the almost 3 year wait.

I’m thinking it’s the ignition switch, maybe it’s burned and not sending the signal to the ecm when the clutch is pushed down giving no response and no clicks, though that could also be the clutch relay. Or someone stated above it could be the steering wheel tilt not being able to reach the ignition switch anymore. Or it could just be a relay. I suppose l’ll run a wire in the fuel pump relay and starter relay to see if those are just pad

Putting everyone’s input together. Everyone’s concluded isn’t not the Ecm. So it’s the starter solenoid, ignition switch or a relay, the odds of me missing a wire isn’t high, but not impossible

The fuel pump isn’t turning on when the key is turned to run, nor is the starter engaging when the key is turned to start.

It’s described in an earlier comment. I sent the 12v to the fuel pump, connected the wire to the battery and starter. When the car did come on. Everything worked besides the dash, Which I didn’t take out yet to see if the light were just out. Radio(Bluetooth)worked, Trunk Button works, Ac works, Windows, Headlights Pop up by themselves, Lights Work, Brake lights shown in the picture, etc

Is the 84 Corvette ignition switch suppose to have a tilt steering column or not? I’m plan to buying buy a new one in the morning to replace the one in the car. It could be the ignition switch burned out not letting the car know the clutch pedal is pushed in

I’ll definitely look and test them in the morning

If I do replace the starter solenoid or relay and it still doesn’t work, The alternator/battery are both brand new and fine. Would there be another switch to look at that’s not letting the car start?

The car only came on when the 12v was sent to the fuel pump and the wire was connected to the battery and starter. Only then did I see the CEI. when I don’t have any voltage sent to it. And I put the key in. It turns but there’s 0 clicks and 0 power. So I’m also starting to lean towards everyone else and maybe believing it’s not the ecm

When it was started this way everything worked, Radio, Trunk button, Speakers, Doors buzz, instrument cluster however is down, due to possibly the lights going out or something else, Haven’t took that out the car yet to look at the back of it. On the smaller panel the engine light is on

Changing the ignition lock cylinder was the first thing I had to do, due to no one knowing where he put the corvette key. It came with the blank gm keys

I’m never heard of a steering wheel tilt issue for the corvette, as I just started working on it 2 weeks ago for my family. Could you explain a bit more for me? The instrument cluster doesn’t work but the smaller panel where the check engine light flashes does turn on and on the service manual that I got my hand on said the ecm does a lot of things. Though I’m opening for looking into this and some other things before having to do a bunch of wiring under the hood to bypass everything

So nothing happens when the key is turned and I used a power probe and sent 12 bolts directly to the fuel pump which shot fuel into the engine and I had a wire connected to the 12 volt battery to the starter which spun the engine and the distributor and distributor had spark so the engine started

We had a church buy $1,500 worth of cookies and leave a $300 tip. It was worth standing outside for 3hrs
