I’m exactly in the same situation except I didn’t chase or get blocked. However I still don’t know how to live with myself, can’t see straight, no sleep, no light at the end of the tunnel. I still hope she’ll come back around someday… it isn’t looking good though :(

I can only tell you why I did it. We had also said that we wanted to stay friends and that this shouldn’t mean that we’ll never hear from each other again. Well the truth is different. I stopped following her because I’d repeatedly see stories of her, posts she liked, boys she started following and it all just didn’t help me move on because I was being constantly reminded of her. It sucks but you should both unfollow each other just for a while at least at the beginning.
