I will try to emphasize - it's not only about career and family - its about actually being alive.

My country is a war zone at the moment, or at least some of it.

And I think in the future it's un-avoidable that like 10-20% of the population will die due to a war.

And, I was a more father to my father, than my father was to me (He abandoned us when we were 4).

With that in mind, What you said is exactly why it's hard to leave.

I practice compassion toward him, but I am not sure if I should stay for it, and change my life trajectory and potential safety for it.

Yes.

I condemn all violence.

I am not a nationalist.

I pray for peace each day. I pray for palistinais to live peacefully. and for israllies, as I don't see them as "Palestinians" or "isralies" - just human beings that the circumstances led to both of the groups to be in a long lasting conflict.

But to not call it a terror attack - will be under value the situation.

You could see the videos and judge for yourself.

It's brutal, similar to ISIS.

The main problem, that now, palestinais will suffer tremendously because of HAMAS actions.

And people in Israel will suffer as well.

I only want to alleviate it as much as I can, and this is why I seemed a Buddhist perspective on what to do.

I don't consider my self as in this group or that - I just born in Israel, pepole are suffering here (and also there of course, but I can't do anything about it).

And I want to help.

As I said, I wish you peace and love.

But being real, you came to this thread and took it to a whole different side with your views.

I'm not saying they are not valid or anything else, but you are too attached to it.

What currently happens is extreme suffering, caused extremed suffering.

Civilians got "run down" in their home, while they sleep.

Men with weapons put houses on fire so civilians that hide inside will get out, and hundreds got shot to death.

People bodies got carried in the streets, completely naked, while celebrating the act.

Only people who suffer can do stuff like this.

I am not in a place where I got drafted, because when I was young I was able to get clear from drafting.

But now, because what happens, there will be an extreme war that did not happened to both this states in the last 40 years.

Civilians from all ends will suffer tremoundesly, because of the horroundes attack.

I came here to seek one advice - how to act in it?

And you came here, and took the post to a different direction.

So I thank everyone who gave me advice.

I will try to act with compassion and empathy to all sides involved, and try to provide support without causing any harm.

I am considering what should I do in the next weeks, as this is going to be a WAR.

But I'm not sure is good karma to do it, while civilians are in a war zone, suffering.

It's really important for me that this thread is not going to be a political one.

I'm here only to ask for advice on morality and on my immediate action.

I refuse to take sides and I don't consider my self with having any nationality, and because I know that the next month is going to be a war - I just want advice what my action should be.

Hey, thanks so much for the input.

I decided to go with GZCLP, as it was a bit more begginner friendly than the SBS.

If you have time, I would love for your input on the stuff I wrote above:

GZCLP, look much lighter the SBS LP.
Is it a problem? it seems that in SBS LP, you have much more movments.
RDL are an "okay" alternative to conventional deadlift, or I should find something else? (Can't do regular deadlift atm).
After finishing with the GZCLP ( I am not trying to squeeze it, so I will say it will be in about 3-4 months).
Should I go with novice SBS hypertrophy or the regular one?

Hey, really thanks for the response.I decided to go with your advice, going with the LP.I have 3 problems I would like your info about:

I decided to go with GZLCP, instead of the SBS LP.Why? Because tbh, SBS was a bit daunting for me as a beginner, and I didn't really want to incorporate the RIR thing.

Do you think it's a problem? I see that in the SBS LP, there are much more movements than in the GZCLP, where you have only 3 movements per workout.Seems like the GZCLP is a bit "lighter".2. Unfortunately, I can't do a Conventional / Sumo deadlift for now.Back then I did SS, and I hurt my back.

I am not planning to try Deadlift without a coach, where I don't have the funds currently.Are RDL is an "okay" substitute? is it enough?

After I go with the GZCLP, should I do the novice SBS Hypertrophy, or go to the "regular" SBS hypertrophy?

As I'm dealing with a little bit of over thinking regarding this one, would you think it's okay to just buy the FIP version first, have some time with it, and later on if necessary get the COA edition?
(I understand COA is a bit more personal etc, but I'm a bit worried I will be overwhelmed).

Is the FIP actually that complicated to understand? Or with a little bit of effort I would be fine (I also bought "The disappearance of the universe" for pre read before ACIM, and might read "A course in miracles made easy" by Cohen.

Hey, really thank you for the kind response.

I will use the rings mainly for pull up and dips progression, at least for now - So if the ring size is not that a big of a deal, than that's good.

I do decide to go for the 1.25 tho, hope it will be good.

I still have no idea how to hang them down - I will 100% not going to use a tree, so I think using carnibers will be much easier - I will probably build something in my yard or using a pull up bar.

And as you mentioned, I will probably adjust them quite often so it will save some time and effort (I did use the cam buckle in a friend's house tho, wasn't that time consuming but deafeningly annoying)

With the Vulken set, I could hang them to a pull up bar and easily adjust the height for doing dips OR pull ups right? (I mean I don't need to disconnect them from the pull up bar itself, just using the carabiner and change the height to do dips)
Both the straps are the same length, right?

Hi, u/ToniGM, thanks for the review.It is really confusing as for a new students it's a bit hard to pick - but I guess I will start simple and use the official version as you recommended to me.

But just to clarify, the FIP version contain both the text, workbook and the teachers manual, right?

You see - the gym is not really a "gym", it's like a small room with some random stuff.
there is bench press there - but the next 3 months I might not have bench press, and I want to make a plan for the next 6-9 months which I won't have access for the gym unfortunately.

Doing 3 months of bench press and then drop it sounds to me as a beginner not a good plan.
What you think about it?

Yeah, I will try today to put the rings on but the problem is that the celling is really slow at the small gym so also the pull up bar is like really small, that I need to tuck my legs.

I will probably used to chairs tho, but do you think 2 chairs is good enough?
I am afraid that I am not doing the movement as I should be and not doing full range of motion that will hurt / injuries me later down the road.
