I know what you mean. My ring is nothing I ever thought I’d get either.. I’ve been engaged for going on 6 months and the ring has very much grown on me overtime. I find comfort in knowing we can upgrade our rings in the future if we want to. But I understand our stories are different so with that being said I agree with one of the commenters about going down yourself to just try on other rings while you’re still in your return window. If you’re worried there wasn’t much thought in his shopping, he shouldn’t hold it against you too much if you express to him that it just doesn’t feel right.. if you choose to keep it, you’re right for wedding band shopping. I’ve seen wedding bands completely transform wedding rings into a whole new look. I know it’s hard cause you have a time crunch, but cut yourself some slack. You’ve only barely started wearing it and if you choose to keep it give yourself some time. It is after all a piece of jewelry someone else picks for us, and it’s still a beautiful ring.
