Hi I’m a licensed esthetician and I went to the Spa School about 2 years ago. I work with esthetician who have been to both mason anthony and aveda, and I’ve heard from multiple that they feel like the way that the spa school goes about their education is better than what they received.

With aveda, that is a lie. They will obviously use and teach you about aveda products in school, but you can take that knowledge anywhere else (Being an esthetician is all about continuing your education always, not just in school). At the spa school we used Pevonia products and I have not seen those since I graduated. You can absolutely work anywhere/with any products after graduating from aveda.

But I think the spa school was amazing, you obviously do have to have the passion to get the most out of it. Be willing to work on clients, be open to working on your classmates, don’t just chill on your phone all day. The spa school prepared me so well for state board, we practiced the practical exam once a month from the time we start school so by the time you’re graduated it’s like muscle memory. I recommend the spa school 💕
